House vacation rentals in Warten

We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

This is a beautiful airbnb in a forested location; peaceful and quiet. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s a very charming place to stay; we loved it!

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

With a group of friends of 5 people, we stayed three nights in this AirBnB on a small-scale park. There were few other guests in the park, so we could enjoy the nice jacuzzi and garden. Unfortunately, for the (unheated) pool, the temperature outside was just a bit too cold. Inside is a lot of space, the cottage is much larger in terms of seating space than for 5-6 people. The beds (a total of 6 sleeping places) were excellent. With two refrigerators, six burners (gas stove) and a spacious dishwasher, the kitchen was also great, although unfortunately there was no towel or tea towel available to dry the hands and small dishes. It is also nice that there are two toilets (one of which is separate), but the door to the bathroom with toilet cannot be locked and does not close completely. Arrival is fine, with some information from the host in advance via the app and on site instructions to get to the right cottage at the small bungalow park. All in all a great stay in a nice area!

Wonderful accommodation to relax and unwind. No neighbors or surroundings and vice versa. Despite that, the supermarkets are a 2-minute drive away so the location is very nice! Host is super helpful and can be reached immediately if anything comes up. We would definitely come back here!

The apartment is fantastic, nicely decorated and spacious. everything was present, including soap, shampoo, etc. There was even some goodies ready for us. We enjoyed it. The area is quiet and you are really within a 5-minute walk in the center.

A fantastic vacation home with incredibly warm landlords. We had a wonderful time with 2 toddlers, 4 adults and our senior dog. Super equipped kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable beds and a great terrace make for a wonderful vacation. Many beautiful experiences are possible around Grou, for people of all ages. But the best thing was the unconditional helpfulness when we were stranded because unfortunately the car key ended up in the trunk, the car locked! Everything in it! And now we had to drive to Germany with car 2 to get a spare key… Thank you Auke & Marie Christine for letting us wait safely with you 🙏

The hostess was very accessible and pleasant. And tried to answer quickly. And the property was like the photos. And the view towards the park was amazing. I had a great time. Thank you so much for everything. We loved staying with you.

We were there with five adults and a toddler and had a great time! We happened to be in a vacation home in the same park, which was also beautifully located, but the cabin in the woods is really a highlight: The forest is directly adjacent to the garden, so that you not only have a lot of privacy but the atmosphere directly provides pure relaxation (view from the hot tub and the sauna directly into the forest). The amenities were modern and thoughtful. The bathroom and the open living-dining area were other highlights. The landlords responded quickly to questions. We would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

The house is simply great and quiet with its location directly on the canal! You can watch ships all day or get active yourself. We had our bikes with us and took beautiful trips right on the canal. A kayak ride, which is available there, in the direction of Wanswerd is also highly recommended. The house is very clean and well maintained. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Clear recommendation!

We felt very comfortable! Particularly positive to highlight: Hotze got us bicycles and brought them to the accommodation as well as picked them up again! Also a little attention (juice, snacks, chocolate) on arrival made us feel right at home! Great view on the terrace, everything very clean! We will be happy to come back!

We spent two relaxing days and nights as a family in the cute cottage in Terhakle. The cottage is even prettier in reality than in the photos, the beds are very comfortable, everything was very tidy and clean and we lacked nothing. The surroundings are very quiet, pure nature! From here you can reach many pretty Frisian towns such as Sneek in a few minutes by car. We will definitely come back!!!

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. Also nice was the sun in the front garden, where we could have breakfast quietly. The location is nice and quiet, so we were able to sleep really well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back. Finally, I would like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, wonderful week. Very nice location and a beautiful spacious house. It is only a short walk to the nearest sailboat rental and the view from the house was great! Glad the kitchen was complete with herbs and oil. Communication with host was quick and efficient. Definitely worth the repetition!

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

We really enjoyed our month-long stay in Sjoerdtje’s house. What a lovely, cozy place. It felt very homely right away. Being there in winter, we couldn’t make use of the garden, can only imagine how beautiful it must be in summertime! We have been treated to the garden and the surroundings turned into a snowy wonderland, though. For sure we want to be back!

Upon our arrival, we met Aly by chance and she was immediately very friendly. The house looked neat and clean and the peace that prevailed is when the weather is a little better great I think. For us, it was a few nights as we went to ride the Elfstedentocht with the motorcycle and did not see much of the immediate surroundings. But definitely a place to come back to even without motorcycles and then explore the area. Aly thank you very much for letting us stay with you and your family and possibly see you next time. We stayed at this beautiful house for an extended weekend. Everything is as pictured and as described. The house is top equipped, nothing is missing. The location is exceptional...very nice right on the water with its own jetty. From there you can make many excursions, cycling, etc. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and with a lot of helpful information. We thank you for the lovely stay and maybe see you next time.
