PET free- due to the co-occupant has pet allergies or other health issues exacerbated by pets. The best we can even start to describe this place that it’s truly an absolute Gem. It was so nice, comfortable, clean and quiet. Jack and Mary knocked it out of the park with this place! I would come back and stay again without a single double. The kids absolutely loved it too. Thank you Jack and Mary for providing a wonderful, comfortable place to stay.

Jura’s place on Leif Erikson road and a stone's throw from the Columbia River is just wonderful! It’s set up with an abundance of thought and generosity, creating that rare combination of warmth, comfort, and practicality. Systems for coming and going, checking in and out or accessing laundry facilities, are clear and easy. The kitchen is clean and well-appointed for both cooking and baking. Jura is generous and responsive, and the whole experience is warm and welcoming. On top of that, Jura had bikes for our use along with a rowing machine. The care taken making home, and the location—steps away from a wonderful family-owned coffee shop, and across the street from the stunning Columbia River and long Riverwalk—makes for a perfect Astoria home away from home. In addition, we loved hearing the sea lions and missing that right now. We hope to come back and will definitely see if Jura's place is available again.

Perfect small space for me. I loved the creativity and the decor. During the week Long Beach is a lovely place to be; weekends are overwhelming with crowds. Many eateries and pie bakeries. A boardwalk and Discovery Trail make for interesting walks. The beach is very accessible.

We stayed at Jeff and Cathy’s place 4 days and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We felt right at home. The area was very peaceful, every morning we woke up at 7am to see the deer roaming right in front of our doors. Jeff left great recommendations for things to do in the area.
