Songbird Retreat was the perfect Easter retreat for our family of five. Wonderful fun home in an idyllic setting. Something for everyone. Especially loved the stunning backyard with steps straight to the water, use of kayaks, many places to sit and relax. Richard could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend!

I visit Lake Gaston every year to enjoy the peaceful and serene environment while reconnecting with family members who live nearby. My stay at Cheryl's home was excellent. The house was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The tranquil views of the lake from the boathouse and the decks were breathtaking, and the gentle sounds of nature created a soothing backdrop for relaxation. Cheryl was a warm and responsive host. I highly recommend this listing and would definitely stay there again.

Jenn and Bob were great hosts! The lake was absolutely perfect for my family and what we were looking for. We had never heard of Lake Gaston or been to this part of NC but we are big fans now and will definitely be back. The amenities were great! Littleton is such a cute little quiet town. There were a few good restaurants close by but we enjoyed cooking most meals! We will certainly be back.

Stayed at The Goose for Labor Day weekend. There were a total of 8 of us. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves! The house was immaculate with everything you would possibly need! Lots of outdoor items included to use and enjoy! They definitely went above and beyond to provide for their renters! Would definitely recommend The Goose for anyone wanting an incredible place to stay at Lake Gaston!!

Kevin was a gracious host and our family had an amazing time at the house. The lake is beautiful and the dock is perfect for relaxing. The house was very well stocked with everything you may need for your stay. I highly recommend this place !

Eduardo, We sincerely enjoyed your beautiful home. It was so peaceful, very relaxing and full of everything that anyone would need. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t want for anything. We home cooked all of our meals and didn’t want to leave the house. The views of the lake are outstanding and so peaceful. Watching the morning steam rising off of the lake was mesmerizing and the sunrising were just as beautiful. Having a morning coffee on the porch watching the fish popping and rippling the water was just like a movie. We really enjoyed your beautifully decorated home. The beds were very comfortable and the ceiling fans made it great to sleep in. We will be back for Thanksgiving in less than a month!! As well as next June and we can’t wait to be back again. We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the lake. It was a beautiful fall weekend and really enjoyed being on the water and exploring the town of Littleton. The game room made for great fun! There was plenty of space for all 10 of us and could have fit many more. We would love to come back and stay even longer to enjoy this accommodating house even more, especially the lake activities when it's a little warmer!

My kids and I went for Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved it!! The kayaks, dock and lots of sunshine. My children are already wanting to plan another trip 😊 Thank you for the wonderful memories!

We had a lovely stay! Christine was so helpful. The location was great and convenient for getting the boat on the water. We’d definitely stay again.

This is just as a lake house should be, with beautiful views, places to hang out both inside and out, and a great dock. We both kayaked and simply jumped in the water. There was some boat traffic but it was never too much. Would come back again.

Jeff’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway! Great location, close to the campground. The dock was a lifesaver as the weather wasn’t great but sitting on the dock with a blanket and a coffee (or beer) was extremely peaceful! We will be back!

The Wee Blue Inn was a perfect choice for our family to relax and play! We loved the giant floating pad by the dock, the paddle boards, and kayaks. We had our own little party using the bluetooth speakers at the dock and the seating areas are plentiful. We loved the view from the wrap around porch too. The bedrooms were comfy and cozy with plenty of space. My teenage daughter put together every puzzle they had... and there was plenty. If you're looking for a place to stay at Lake Gaston, Matt's place is perfect. We highly recommend and would definitely come back!

This house was the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing weekend away! It was spacious and comfortable, and we loved being so close to the lake, and the dock was beautiful! The screened in porch was great too, we spent most mornings and evenings out there. The lake is so peaceful, watching the sunset from the dock and listening to the wildlife was just perfect. We highly recommend this home! We went for a girls weekend but this house would be perfect for families as well. We hope to come back again soon!!

My husband and I Loved the place It was very clean and perfect for 2 or 4 people or a small family. Loved the dock and boat house great for fishing and or floating. Peaceful and relaxing. Loved that it was a one level home and short mostly flat walk to the dock. A great weekend get away. The only concern we had was the toilet was very shaky on the floor when you sat down. Still a very nice clean place would go back again.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway ! The recreational area is great for a more private lake day and the public fishing/ swimming areas are not too far. The house itself was well taken care of and very comfortable! Summer was attentive to our questions and answered them timely and respectfully. Thank you again, I'm sure we will be back!

Natalia's log home was wonderful. It was clean, and well appointed. The pier and boat were outstanding. I've never rented a house on a lake that has a private sand beach. Everything was perfect. I can't say enough about the experience. I highly recommend renting Natalia's log home on Lake Gaston.

WOW!! Everything about this property is just WOW!! We’ve stayed at our fair share of Airbnb/Vrbo properties & this one takes the cake! Lanni has literally thought of EVERYTHING! All you need to bring is food, sunscreen & your clothes 😊 The rest is taken care of! Everything is labeled, organized & super clean. The neighborhood is so beautiful & peaceful and it was so lovely to be immersed in nature. There are so many fun activities at the house available for guest use and even with small kiddos, we had something fun to do all day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property & Lanni—who was also amazing to work with & made things so simple—we would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our time at Michelle’s house in the lake! We have stayed here before and have always had a great experience. As always, she is available if needed and responds timely, never making us feel like a bother. The house is awesome and we had a fabulous time again this year! Awesome time spent with the family!

Fantastic cabin in the woods. Huge back deck overlooking the water. Bedrooms were nice size and nicely decorated. There were great little touches such as a basket of chips at the door many different options for coffee, ground or keurig. Honestly it’s exactly what me and my wife are looking for when we retire.

We had great time with family and it was a perfect location. The area was very quiet!
