Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

Your vacation in the 45 square meter modern and lovingly furnished apartment. It is located on the first floor and has direct access to the forest. It has a double bedroom. The living room has a sofa that can accommodate up to two people. In the living room, there is a fireplace, TV and a forest view. The kitchen has a fridge, electric stove, sink, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, egg cooker, cooking pots, frying pans, dish towels and dishes.

Our barrier-free "vacation home with a dream view" of the Rhine plain is located on a 950 square meter fenced hillside property at an altitude of 300 meters. It is located on the eastern edge of the Unesco Biosphere Reserve Palatinate Forest - Nord Vosges on the Haardt der Südliche Weinstraße. You can also book our "Ferienhaus im Kastanienwald" in Burrweiler am Teufelsberg and our "Grünes Feriendomizil" in Landau/Pfalz on this portal.

In our garden house, depending on the booking, there are up to 3 bedrooms, each with its own shower and toilet, a kitchen and living area as well as a terrace and garden (south side). This takes you directly to our own small vineyard, with fantastic views over the sea of vines to the Haardt Mountains. ….and you can start hiking, biking, wine tasting and much more, …..or just relax.

The studio is located in Altenstadt (Wissembourg), above the garage adjoining the house, with a separate entrance. It is perfect for couples (with a 1.60 m bed) and solo travelers. It offers the possibility of cooking (two plates, a refrigerator, a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a mini oven, a microwave...) You will enjoy the tranquility of the place, the large garden, the sunrises...

Bring the whole family to this great place. A great garden to relax, also suitable for hiking enthusiasts. The Jungpfalzhütte starts directly from the house. Make a nice campfire, relax in the wellness lounge, relax in the infrared sauna and treat yourself to a break. Children are also welcome: There is a trampoline and a large nest swing for romping and playing in the house.

In the tranquil Hainfeld on the popular German Wine Route is our winery built in 1738. Of course, the house has an authentic winery that invites you to linger outdoors. The lovingly and elaborately renovated house is a wonderful starting point to discover the vineyards in the immediate vicinity or the Palatinate Forest with its multitude of medieval castle ruins.
