Vacation rentals in Wakkanai

We enjoyed our short stay at the Woodhouse - the design was beautiful, and the entire home was very well-stocked with snacks, amenities, and kitchenware. Though we checked in for 8 people, the hallway “room” was not made up, so the photos were slightly misleading. It was a bit inconvenient to rethink our sleeping arrangements when we arrived late, but we found the bedding to set it up ourselves. Aside from this small note, we would have loved to spend more than one night at the property, and it is apparent that the host prioritizes hospitality. I highly recommend this spot!

Stayed 3 nights and host was very kind and helpful in making the most of our stay. They also rent scooters, which we will take advantage of on our next stay with Lulu!

Beautiful little air bnb with the most amazing views of the ocean and Mt Rishiri. It was conveniently located close to the ferry terminal and right across the road from a seicomarto for all your snacking needs. Very clean inside, with a good kitchen and washing machine if needed. We had a fantastic few days staying here

Host was super helpful, she even gave me a ride when I couldn’t find a taxi. Place is awesome and provided a great base camp for skiing on Rishiri.

The location was great and I had a memorable stay! I would love to use it again!

Great place, great host!

This place is so so so beautiful 😮‍💨 In the middle of camping grounds, in the beautiful forest, right beside the road station (in fact its operated by the people in the road station). We stayed for a night after visiting Cape Soya. There are no nearby reataurants though, so we bought food from a supermarket at Hamatombetsu, and had a wonderful dinner at the beautiful container house, almost fully wooden within so pretty. Inside was pretty spacious too as it fit our group of 3 adults 1 child.

Great place to stay of you're going to Wakkanai. Plenty of good food and great sea/mountain views in the area
