It was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. It was close to the Windows walk and the tunnel, enabling us to ride our bikes to Waihi.

Sparrows Nest Guesthouse

We stayed over the weekend at Ally and Karri’s airbnb - it is clean, warm, cozy and we immediately felt at home right after arrival. The hosts are very accommodating - made sure that we have everything we need during our stay. Beds and pillows are comfortable, and the location is quiet and tranquil, with beautiful mature avocado trees surrounding the property. Would love to come back for a longer time next time. Thanks Ally and Karri for your hospitality.

'Kotuku' Farm Retreat

This was a lovely, peaceful farm stay. The converted shipping containers make an excellent set up for singles or couples. It's quick to get into Te Aroha for cafes, hiking and the hot springs.

Clever Living Te Aroha

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay in Te Aroha was so comfortable. Jess and Sam were able to accommodate our trip last minute and also be flexible when we got held up with flights due to a massive storm. The home is immaculate and has everything you need plus more. The beds are super comfortable and the bedding is great quality with plenty of warmth for us who struggle with the cold. The kitchen was so well equipped with things you need. 5 star accommodation according to my 9 year old and we couldn't agree more.

The Tiny Farmhouse

KateRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I can’t fault anything about our stay! Marianne was an absolute angel to communicate with and was checking in throughout to see how we were going. We loved the location, it was a little bit hard to find initially but once we did it was so easy to get inside and the space was the actually pretty big and the perfect size for a ‘tiny’ farmhouse. The views to the mountains and fields from the place was out of this world, and driving past cows to leave the property every day was a bit fun. Marianne made sure the heater was on when we arrived and left us some fresh milk and honey from the farm which was a wonderful surprise. We stayed in the middle of winter and we weren’t cold one bit, with the heater, extra blankets and towel warmer we stayed very warm! The local town Te Aroha was full of everything we needed and there were some beautiful nature walks and hikes (and waterfalls) close by. I would 100% recommend staying here to everyone!
