I had a great stay! The place was clean, and just as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy.

Susan and Terry were very friendly and helpful. They let me keep my boat at their pier. Guides were coming on the other side of the river of their pier with their guest and all I had to do was cross the river to catch nice specks. The wildlife was amazing, bald eagles, deer, alligators, to name a few.

We had a great stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—just a short drive to the beach, and we had really good luck fishing, both during the day and especially at night off the dock. The house itself was clean and comfortable, with great AC that kept us cool the whole time. It was a peaceful spot to relax, and we really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Melanie’s was absolutely perfect. She was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our visit. The house was exactly as pictured—clean & cozy. One of the sweetest touches was the thoughtful note and gift basket she left for us—it truly made us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommend staying here!

Very clean & homey place. Host were very quick to respond with clear & friend responses/instructions. This location is more for if you are wanting to fish or go to the beach. Only a few restaurants around the place but it was so nice to stay there & have the quiet & private. I really appreciate host letting me & my guest have a late check out (with additional charge). Thank y’all so much for the beautiful home/stay. Definitely recommend this place & the host.

The home was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described. We felt right at home. We are in Sargent very often and Matt’s home has been by far the best we have stayed. We will definitely be booking again and making this our weekend vacation home for as long as Matt has it available

This was our second trip to this beautiful place! The house and property is sooooo PEACEFUL! We only left the house once and that’s because we had to run to wal mart and pick up more bait! The house is AMAZING! The property is AMAZING it’s Texas heat so it’s super hot but we will be booking again soon for our next restful trip!
