We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! It was everything we needed and more. The space was spacious, clean, and perfect for living and working for a week. The WiFi was stable and reliable, which made working remotely a breeze. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we cooked every day without any issues. The location was ideal for a quiet getaway, set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plus, having a market just around the corner was incredibly convenient—we found everything we needed there, including the freshest produce. The gym, though small, had all the essentials we needed to stay active during our stay. Subhani was an amazing host—so responsive and kind, always available if we needed anything. We truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped home away from home!

Janik’s place was absolutely the best. There was so much attention to detail. The kitchen had all necessities. The bathrooms had all the amenities plus towels in all sizes. There was a lot of storage space in all the rooms & kitchen. The washing machine was very useful for a long stay. Even washing powder was provided (but we prefer liquid detergent so we got our own). In addition to the three main rooms there was a small extra room and an additional bathroom of a good size, which we didn’t know was there when we went. (We didn’t have to use this but shared the info in case someone is interested). All the rooms & the living room were very cheerful with windows facing outside & a lot of sunshine coming in, which I loved! The scenery was beautiful as it overlooked the Colombo golf course! It was very peaceful with the sounds of birds chirping & no traffic noise. The very best part was that the place was squeaky clean with comfy beds! Total value for money! Thank u Janik!

The place was immaculately clean, and the check-in process was super convenient (there is a lockbox in front of the door.) It was also super easy for me to leave the house and come back whenever I want without any dependence on my partner that I stayed with - we could manage the keys easily. I have to say that the energy in this house is very tranquil and the beds are super soft and provide you the best sleep!!! and the location is super prime just in the heart of my favourite neighbourhood of colombo ❤️ Mithra updated us on all of the important details and was very responsive! we will definitely come back again!

Amazing Stay with Wonderful Hosts! My stay at Guari and Suhana’s place was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and comfortable. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It's a lovely, very private and clean place. Lots of art around and an art atmosphere. Many artists also come to absorb knowledge and help. An excellent place for a long stay, especially for those involved in art.

Absolutely incredible stay! We stayed here for 3 nights! Bryan’s place in Colombo exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos —if not better in person! It's impeccably clean, tastefully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is a highlight—breathtaking cityscape that truly makes you feel like you're in the heart of Colombo. The natural light pouring in during the day, and the calming ambiance at night, created the perfect vibe whether I was relaxing or getting work done. Location-wise, it's fantastic—central, safe, and close to all major attractions, cafes, and convenience stores. Whether you're here for sightseeing, business, or a short stopover, this spot is a gem. He was responsive and genuinely invested in making my stay seamless. Would I come back? Absolutely. Highly recommend Bryan’s place to anyone visiting Colombo. 😀

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

This is my second time staying at Lahiru’s place. It was a very pleasant experience. Lahiru and his father were very warm and friendly, and had all amenities mentioned. The layout of the house is luxurious and very pleasant. The place has an attractive jogging path around the lake, and the tranquility that comes with it makes it a pleasant place to stay. If I had to describe the area in a few words, I would say “peaceful environment to live in”. I definitely hope to come back for a third time.

Chinthake was super responsive and always really helpful. He was extremely accommodating and I had lots of little requests. The place felt like home and we really enjoyed our stay. The housekeeper - Thilakaratne was super friendly and helpful too. Gotta give it to him and Chinthake for being so accommodating. We’ll definitely stay next year as well 😊

We booked Andy’s property for a colleague visiting from overseas, and she had a wonderful stay. The home was safe, comfortable, and she absolutely loved it. Andy was incredibly helpful and responsive to anything we needed, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

The place was spotless and well-maintained! We stayed for over a month, and Janith’s dad was always available and happy to help whenever needed. As it was my first time using Airbnb, I was a bit nervous, but Janith reassured me that the place was safe and it truly was. Its proximity to the city was incredibly convenient. I’m so glad I chose this place because they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Мы провели здесь месяц – это почти идеальное место! Интернет идеальный для работы, в т.ч. с видеозвонками. Удобная кровать с новым матрасом. Ванная комната – восторг! Туалет и душ отделены друг от друга, а горячая вода – это действительно горячая вода в безлимитном количестве и с великолепным напором. На кухне есть все, кроме турки для приготовления кофе, но это мелочь. С собаками мы подружились и часто играли. Они действительно лают, но только когда кто-то приходит, что в нашем случае происходило очень редко. Хозяева – прекрасные люди, общаться по всем вопросам было легко и приятно. Между нашими и соседними апартаментами нет шумоизоляции за счет тонкой двери в смежной стене. Мы сняли и эти апартаменты тоже и использовали их как отдельный рабочий кабинет. Когда на виллу кто-то приезжает, слышно абсолютно все, что происходит на улице в любое время суток. В любом случае моя оценка 10 из 10, потому что все перечисленные плюсы с лихвой компенсируют несущественные недостатки. Спасибо!

Very happy about our stay here, the place is exactly how it’s described. We had the ability to enjoy peacefully and lovely Jayantha was always available if needed. Close distance to our relatives and generally a great spot to stay in - convenient and private at the same time. Would definitely book again if I came back!

처음에 지도가 잘못된 곳으로 인도해줘서 찾기 힘들었지만 이웃의 도움으로 찾을 수 있었습니다. 단독주택으로 독립된 공간 안에 머물 수 있는 점이 좋았습니다. 공간이 넓어서 좋고, 청결하게 유지되고 있으며, 필요한 것들을 갖추고 있습니다. 특히 세탁기를 이용할 수 있어서 좋았는데, 전자레인지가 없는 건 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 호스트가 매우 친절하고 체크인, 체크아웃 할 때 저의 목적지로 라이드도 해줘서 감사했습니다.

Wir waren einen Monat im Mango House. Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Erdgeschoss mit Garten, der Gastgeber Chanuka wohnt mit seiner Familie darüber. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen und wohl gefühlt, die Familie ist sehr herzlich, gastfreundlich und immer für Fragen und Anliegen offen. Sie haben uns auch zum traditionellen Neujahrs-Frühstück eingeladen, ebenso haben wir einmal gemeinsam gekocht, was eine tolle Erfahrung war. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt, ist sauber und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Lage ist perfekt gelegen, um mit dem Tuktuk schnell in Galle Fort beziehungsweise Unawatuna Beach zu sein. Ebenso hatten wir es als Medizinstudentinnen für unser Praktikum nicht weit bis zum Karapitiya Teaching Hospital. Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Chanuka und seiner Familie nur wärmstens empfehlen!

we six stayed at this apartment for 10 days. It was amazing, clean, well furnished as well as good responsive host and caretaker(Mr.Thiago). there is no con except a non air-conditioned room which was not mentioned in description clearly. If I visit colombo in future then I'll prefer to stay here again.

The place is same like the photos and was extremely clean. Its very peaceful and has a beautiful garden. The washing machine and the dryer was very helpful as we had a lot of clothes to be washed everyday as we were in Colombo for tennis. Would definitely stay again.
