Enjoy a cozy vacation in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks, and chickens. We care about ecology and sustainability, and love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 PM the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on-site with either MobilePay or cash.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Birkely Bed & Breakfast is a charming newly renovated guest house of 38 sqm with a nice bathroom. The house is beautifully and cozily decorated with kitchen, dining table, large double bed and armchairs. There is direct access to a private terrace overlooking the field and forest. Our guest house is in a scenic location, close to the forest and only 3.5 km from Præstø Town and the harbor with its restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors. Breakfast is available, which can be ordered upon arrival. Smoking is not allowed on the property.

Well-equipped, modern and lovely cottage. Close to the fjord with good opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing. The house is located in the small village, Vindebæk, not far from Fanefjord Forest, where the beech is reflected in the blue waves, and there is only a short distance to the unspoiled Vindebæk Beach, which is located right at Grønsund's estuary in the Baltic Sea. Ore Strand is an extension of Vordingborg city, where there are good shopping opportunities, cozy cafes and lots of nature and cultural experiences. It is a 10-minute drive to the highway, where you can reach Copenhagen to the north and Rødby harbor to the south in an hour.
