Better and roomier than I expected AND was treated like royalty from the time I was collected at airport until time I left accom. Everthing is provided and dinner / brekky are enough for 2pp - very delish AND generous! Thank you Zara's homestead / your 'well oiled' Team are simply the best, thank you, I felt right at home. :)

Jolame and Maria are the most welcoming couple who really make you feel like part of the family during your stay. It’s a small authentic Fijian village and lots of their very cute young nieces and nephews often want to hang out. We also made anklets with one of their older relatives and Jolame took us snorkelling with sharks and mantas. Maria is also an excellent cook and you really won’t go hungry here! The hike is also very worth it but hot! If getting the Yasawa Flyer tell them you are going to Jolame Homestay and it’s the same stop as Kuata and Wayaleilei Eco Resort. Jolame or his nephews will pick you up on a smaller boat from the flyer.

Was very convenient as we had an early transfer to the islands the next day. Bula bus was convenient to see island and you are right on the port amongst all the action. Was just what we wanted. There was a bit of noise from the restaurants below (Sat night) but didn’t impact us and wanted to be somewhere where we could walk to restaurants and ferry. Great stay
