In the neighboring town Kirchhain are plenty of restaurants, 7! supermarkets and an Italian Ice Cream Café. Pets are welcome.

In the immediate vicinity are Lidl, Rossmann, a bakery and three restaurants (Thai, Döneria, Pizzeria). A Rewe and an Edeka are also nearby.
