House vacation rentals in Vizhinjam

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb in Kovalam, Kerala, and it was an absolute delight. The property was immaculately clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding. The host/caretaker Vishnu went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing thoughtful amenities. The location was a bit far away from Main Street. I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Kovalam.

The stay was planned as a getaway with family which included elderly parents and 4 others in their 30's. The pool was decent sized and the rooms were all neat with a traditional feel, which really made the parents at ease. Restaurant, beach and other amenities were very close and accessible. It was an easy going experience with no tension in the air. The host Nishal was an absolute gent and was with us whenever we needed him. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to families and groups of adult friends to hang out.

Great property with all amenities. Highly recommended. Only challenge was to reach to this property. Well maintained house with excellent amenities including clean swimming pool.

The property and the views from there are beautiful and for us it was a lovely place to get wedding ready. The pool and beautiful surroundings make it a really wonderful place; the breakfast was amazing, too. But what stood out most was the extremely caring and lovely care taker, Vipin. Vipin answered to each and every request, be it a late night hair dryer or very early morning coffee. We could not be happier with his care and responsiveness he made sure my family and I felt right at home and could relax and enjoy the beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for more, our biggest thanks to him!

Prompt response and allways available to reply to the queries we had. He got us upgrade for all 3 villas from Garden view to Sea view. Rooms were ready as soon as we checked in. Overall very professionally handled right from the time we booked.

A great isolated place.. away from the usual kovalam beach crowd.. a very good property with all the amenities and facilities..

Our stay at Ganesh's Airbnb was fantastic! The place was super comfy and peaceful, with the soothing sounds of nature in the mornings. Ganesh was such a friendly host, always ready to help and suggest great local spots to eat and explore. The proximity to the lake and nearby amenities made it a perfect fit for our long stay. Ideal for remote workers like us! We'll definitely be back for more tranquility. Highly recommend Ganesh's place to anyone visiting Trivandrum. Big thanks to Ganesh for the top-notch hospitality!

It never felt like a rented place.. home away from home❤️ Mamtha was soo welcoming and and I felt like im going to my sister’s place. Yummy surprise welcome gift was waiting for me… Anita was sooo kind and she explained everything in detail so that u dont have to worry about anything. Everything was taken care by her. I felt like staying there for few more days. And definitely im gonna come again and again and again for sure… 5 star is not enough…!! ❤️❤️❤️

We recently stayed at Raj Villa in Trivandrum, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, Mr. Bijju was incredibly helpful and attentive. He guided us through everything — right from our arrival, helping with local information, to adjusting our plans when needed. We were a family of 10, and the house felt just like our own. It was spacious, clean, and homely — not once did we feel like we were staying in someone else's place. Every corner of the house reflected comfort and warmth. What touched us most was how difficult it was to say goodbye — we genuinely felt sad leaving. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of hospitality and homely comfort. Highly recommend Raj Villa to anyone visiting Trivandrum — especially families looking for a cozy, peaceful stay with amazing support from the host!

The stay was amazingly beautiful !! The host was very responsive and the caretaker at the property was helpful too. My family just loved the place. It felt like we could stay there for another day just to enjoy the beauty of the stay and the surroundings.

We had a wonderful time at the villa, living to the sound of ocean waves. Especially because we were celebrating our brother and sister in law's wedding, it was lovely to see the place decorated for them. Robin was so helpful, thank you very much!

Vinod is an excellent and caring communicator. His Mom with a sweet smile helped me with anything I wanted. The location was perfect for me, it took me like 3-4 minutes to the clinic I had Panchakarma. The Lighthouse beach is about 5-6 minutes. I love the paciousness of the apartment, the spotless cleanliness. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with warm water. One of the bedrooms has a large double bed and a single bed, and A/C that I didn't use, just tried it once, it's functional. But in general, I prefer to open the windows. All windows are covered by mosquito nets, a handy solution. A kitchen with washer is available for your convenience, but I ate out always. All in all, I had an amazing time at Vinod's apartment. Thank you, and I full heartedly recommend it to others.

The best place to stay and the host was really sweet. The place that feels like home. Shila aunty is always there whenever we need something. The place was peaceful and clean. Had all the amenities listed and its same like the pictures. Loved the overall experience would be visiting again for sure. One of best Airbnbs.

The place was very nice, it has an escape from the city kind of vibe whilst being in the city. Place was clean, ganga was very responsive and helpful. Overall, would recommend staying here.

Met our expectations of an Airbnb in terms of comfort, cleanliness and amenities. The house was dust-free. The bathrooms were clean. The sofas and mattresses were neat and comfortable. The bedroom windows had blinds which ensured good sleep.The ACs and fridge worked well. The kitchen was spotless and had the necessary utensils. The house was well-lit. In the dining room, the only space devoid of air conditioning, the hosts had thoughtfully provided two fans to ensure the guests’ comfort. Apart from the house, our interactions with the host was pleasant. We had made the reservation at the last minute. They were kind enough to accept it and asked us time to clean up the place. In spite of the short notice, the house was well-prepared for our arrival. The caretaker patiently waited and helped us check in even if we were late. The only issue we had was the location. If you want to access the heart of the city, the commute becomes a bit hectic. Otherwise. Amaravathy gets 5 stars.😊

Place looked exactly same as pictures . What u see is what u get !!! Check in was so smooth and both vishak n Arjun were responsive . Place is in great locality making it easier for commute , food and walkable distance to Sree Padmanabha Temple. It’s truly home away from home .

Location and overall experience was good. TV was not working and curtains and blinds were dusty and dirty. More dishes for cooking was needed in the kitchen.

I was called by the host themselves even before I tried reaching them. Gave me clear instructions about the location. I was also provided with a backup number. Overall a very good experience. Nice place to stay with family and great VFM.

Great stay and the home and location were perfect. Close to our family and friends and we were able to walk or take a quick rickshaw around town. Home is big and has all the conveniences of an American home. Would recommend!

We stayed at Vidhu's place as a last minute plan to avoid the drive back home right after a long tiring day in Trivandrum. What started as an unplanned stay turned out to be the best part of our trip. The place was absolutely beautiful and every corner of the house was picture perfect. Vidhu was very responsive and guided us through everything we needed. The care taker Stephen was also a delight to chat with. The only negative bit was not having spent longer there. A must visit, highly recommended.
