This place is incredible. A renovated house from the medieval period, it’s even more impressive than the pictures. The setting is beautiful, with a view of the valley right out the bedroom window. The place itself is spotless and the automated check-in was a breeze. The host even had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and it’s well stocked with coffee. Like most homes in the region, be prepared to drive for groceries and restaurants - and take note that the drive to the house is steep downhill and at times narrow - but take it slow and you’ll be fine. The location of this place is perfect if you want to visit both Porto and the Douro valley. 10/10 would recommend!

Это наша лучшая остановка за время путешествия по Португалии. В доме есть все что нужно, внутри просто приятно находится. Мы ещё попали в момент когда в Португалии пропало электричество и связь - так хозяйка и её семья проявили нереальную заботу - и свечки принесли, и мангал разожгли и предлагали еду - ну такого классного "апокалипсиса" у нас никогда не было! Рекомендую однозначно!

El servicio fue impecable, y la atención al detalle realmente marcó la diferencia. Estoy impresionado/a con la dedicación y el compromiso que demostraron en cada interacción. in general, this is a very good place to stay in. Hugo is nice but not very responsive. the place has a unique vibe since it set up as a small village rather then a house. meaning the toilets are out side the house. water pressure is very low so we had to take woderfull baths. the soccer table did not had balls to play with and that room was rather dirty. the water are not good for drinking and the closest place to get water is 15 min. drive. too bad he didn't mention that. the house had an odd smell of old people's house. can use some refreshment. other then that it is really an excellent place to stay in.

This is a very old house, located in a small farm town. The house is tucked in the back of the street and can be a bit hard to find. Luckily one of the friendly neighbors pointed me to the place and I just parked outside the house. I would recommend this house if you’re looking to experience what it’s like to live in a typical house in this area. Not the most modern but it’s fun for a short stay.

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the hospitality António!

I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

A Lianne é o Ricardo mostraram-se sempre disponíveis e preocupados para qualquer dúvida que eu tivéssemos, os dias que passámos lá foram muito agradáveis. O Ricardo apresentou nos todas as éguas que tinha na quinta e até nos deixou montar numa delas, a Boneca. Obrigada aos dois por nos fazerem sentir em casa.

Salienta-se limpeza ótima e boas condições da habitação. a senhora rosa é uma pessoa honesta, transparente, responsável e que ajuda sempre que é necessário. a localização é muito boa. Não é necessário usar o carro no dia a dia. O prédio é calmo e na maioria das vezes silencioso.

Estadia ótima, de acordo com as expectativas e com as fotografias. Tanto o Gabriel como a Carolina foram muito prestáveis nas informações e preocupados se estava a correr tudo bem. O único ponto negativo, que é apenas uma oportunidade de melhoria, prende-se com o facto da casa ser um 1 andar e as escadas não terem corrimão. Tendo em conta que apanhamos mau tempo e tínhamos um bebé tornam-se um bocadinho perigosas.

Boa estadia, espaço com muita qualidade, zona extremamente calma para descansar do stress citadino, zona envolvente muito gira para quem gosta de caminhar e passear pela natureza. Recomendo.

Casa maravilhosa, com uma vista fantástica. ótima localização, sitio muito bonito e calmo. Casa super limpa e com todas as comodidades para a nossa estadia. Comunicação muito boa com o anfitrião. Nada de negativo a apontar. Iremos voltar com toda a certeza.

This is the second time we visit this paradise! it's so beautiful there, the lake in front of the house, the forest behind the house. So much peace there. If you need some time to relax or enjoy peaceful moments with your family or friends, this is the place for you!

Espaço muito tranquilo, silencioso e agradável. Casa pequena mas muito simpática. Cama de casal tem um colchão magnífico. O acesso à casa é feito por uma estrada de terra acessível mas um pouco longa.

Casa muito bonita e confortável, no meio da natureza, anfitriões muito atenciosos. Gostámos muito!

Wir haben unsere kurze Woche sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt direkt am See und man ist weit weg von der Welt. Es gibt noch 2 weitere kleine Wohnungen und 2 Glamping Zelte aber es ist es einfach still und man erholt sich toll. Das Haus ist neu, alle ist sauber und funktioniert, große Fenster für eine gute Aussicht, das kleine Kinderzimmer super praktisch, das Bett mit harter Matratze, die Küche hatte Alles was man braucht. Es war alles sehr sauber. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage (da Solarstrom) aber die haben wir selbst im August nicht gebraucht. Der See vor der Tür ist leider nicht klar, das Ufer Sand/Schlick und mit Wurzeln, aber war ruhig und angenehm warm sodass wir viele Stunden vom Tag im Wasser verbracht haben. Die kostenlosen Kanus, Kajaks und SUPs waren toll für die Kinder und zwei Ausflüge. Am schönsten waren die Morgen: Mit einem frischen Kaffee auf der Terrasse sitzen, den stillen See und einen einsamen Angler beobachten und einfach der Natur zuhören. Wir planen wieder zu kommen!
