Our stay at Emma & James’ “Unk’s House” in Bohol was absolutely amazing! This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home was perfect for our family of 12. It’s a hidden gem—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Even with a large group, we never felt crowded. The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close to the beach and shops. Emma & James were incredibly helpful, assisting with anything we needed and offering great local tips. The staff was courteous and accommodating, even helping our family cook a few dinners. Breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful start to our days. The entire experience felt like a dream getaway. We truly felt at home and so well taken care of. We’re already planning our return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend Unk’s House for families or groups looking for a relaxing, unforgettable stay in Bohol!

Roberto was fantastic—allowing us an early check-in made a huge difference for our large group with staggered flight times. It gave us a chance to settle in comfortably and even host a mini conference on the second floor. The amenities were on point too; everything worked perfectly from the water supply to the bidets. Plus, having Yuki around—a friendly and helpful pup—was a delightful bonus. The staff went the extra mile by assisting with meal orders and setting up plates and utensils. Highly recommend this stay!

We knew very quickly upon arrival we would want to book a another month, which we did. The place is clean and safe. Priorities for us. The best part though is the on-site staff who really care for the space and for us. We felt at home right away. If something needs tending to they respond immediately and kindly. I work remotely and I've been able to keep things rolling despite being half way around the world from my office. Highly highly recommend staying here if you want a safe, clean and friendly experience.

The place is awesome and the host is nice. I just would like to make some suggestion for updating some information on your listing like having corkage for bringing drinks but everything was so great staying on this place. Looking forward to stay again here. Thank you!

You can expect a very peaceful and tranquil environment, that is both safe and secure. Not somewhere I would stay long term unless you just want a pool holiday, in which case you will love it. The pool is fabulous and clean. Thers lotsof shops nearby , but nowhere decent to eat apart from street BBQ or bars for that matter. But the restaurant food is excellent and reasonable prices. I used it as a go-between beach venues, closer to the airport, and for that it is perfect. If I had one criticism, it would be that they do not accept cards cash only.

the airbnb is easy to find and very peaceful. My host was friendly and accommodating, she gave us a free treats to enjoy while staying (we didn’t expect it). overwhelmed with her hospitality

Our family unit was perfect. Morning swim just a step out the door and breakfast served on our patio was just the way to start our day. The tour we booked through reception was by far a highlight so far. We love the people here and highly recommend this stay for any traveller looking to enjoy moalboal as much as we did. Miss you already.

This is a fantastic place to stay. I loved relaxing on terrace with the sunset view for the pool chair was stunning. The bath tub was clean and inviting but too hot to enjoy during the day, even with the roof cover. The host was incredibly kind allowing me to check in early and stocking fridge with fresh fruits and snacks. The property is located on a hilly type of location so getting there is a bit of trek. While it’s manageable for fit travellers but challenging if you have heavy bags. Overall I’d recommend this place for anyone who is looking to unwind in peace with beautiful views of sunrise and sunset from your home place.

We had a great time at martin's place.The host and the caretakers were very responsive and friendly.Easy to find and just few steps to the beach front. We will surely book again on our future holiday vacation in boracay.

It's the perfect hideout for couples looking for a private retreat. Snugged in a quiet and high corner, this place is truly a gem. We were both so happy to have booked it. There's quite some steps to climb on your way up to the apartment but the view makes it totally worth it. The sunset view is magnificent. We rented a motorbike to move around as the resort is quite far in. But if you dont drive, the resort provides free daily shuttle too. There's cooking equipment provided and supermart is just 3 mins drive so it's very convenient. The staff are helpful and friendly, they give you a number to contact them anytime for help. Simply love this place!

We really had a great stay! We reconnect with nature and the place was really peaceful. Great sea view from the balcony. Dominik was always responsive with all my questions. Will make sure to come back!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The pool is perfectly maintained. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities anyone could ask for. The balcony jacuzzi tub is also a very nice touch. The host is very approachable and will go out of his way to ensure u have a great stay. Everything about it is A+. I will definitely stay here again 🙏🏽

Staying at Anj's place at Balai Lawaan was such a respite for the soul. It's easily accessible via Grab or taxi-- a little further away from the city center, but worth the extra few minutes of travel. We slept so soundly each night, it was actually hard to wake up! Slow mornings with a hearty balanced breakfast on the garden terrace, basking in the morning sun, and the having coffee while taking in the calming sound of wind chimes in the garden-- such a slice of paradise. Anj was an amazing host and her staff was truly very warm. Looking forward to our next stay at Balai Lawaan-- the reviews were right, it's truly a home away from home.

From the time that we made a booking on her listing several weeks before checking in, Joyce has been readily available to assist in every way. Joyce is such an amazing & kind host! The unit itself was perfect & convenient for us in every aspect, located a mere seconds walk to the beachfront, close to convenience stores, restaurants, markets, etc. The surroundings are quite peaceful as it is opposite the police station. The unit is cosy, spacious & well put together, and perfected with the addition of a bathtub. The staff in Alice in Wonderland hotel, where the unit is, are very professional and kind. I would like to thank them as well for having us there & assisting us in every way. They even offer amazing tour & activity packages, and assisted us in booking for them easily. It is also very helpful to have cleaning available to request everyday when needed. Thank you so much Ma'am Joyce for the wonderful stay we had at your place! This is my second time to stay at Richie Joy's place and like before, it's the best! Second to None!! I felt at home and was very comfortable! The room was clean and tidy, the hot shower was refreshing, and the air conditioning unit was perfect! My beddings and towels were replaced regularly or as needed with no questions asked! The front desk staff's were very attentive and always asking if I needed their assistance. They were always willing and able to assist in any way they can. If and when I get hungry, and ordered my meal from a set menu, my hot meal is prepared in 30 minutes! I highly recommend Philippa's B&B Pension House hosted by Richie Joy!! As far as I am concerned, Richie Joy is the best AirBnB Host ever!! "I'll be back"! Vincent~~~

The view is pristine… like floating in clouds. Ding is super kind and helpful. Simple but superb cooking. Outdoor shower felt like Bali. Recommend anytime!!!

I can't say enough about this stay! Truly a wonderful experience from a warm hearted host and very friendly family! Also the room itself had everything you need at a good value. They also have a motorbike to rent which makes it a convenient option. Santa Fe town is extremely close only a 3 minute ride or 15 minute walk from the place. I would recommend this to anyone as it's a great local Filipino experience and in a cooler spot in town then the town in my opinion. I plan to stay here again the next time I visit Bantayan!
