Staying at Panchwati Farms, Prashant’s homestay in Almora, was an experience to remember. The property perfectly combines modern architecture with a charming Kumauni theme, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Waking up to the mesmerizing Himalayan views felt like a dream come true. The highlight was the delicious Kumauni food—every dish was authentic, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. Prashant’s genuine warmth and attention to detail made the stay even more special, making me feel truly at home. Perfect staycation for our family and our 2 dogs who enjoyed the lawn area more than anything. Pramod is the star of the show who is an amazing cook and was very supportive throughout our stay. The property is home away from home and should be treated like so. If you travel during summers, Pramod will be kind to bring the local variety of berries. A local market and petrol pump is only 5 mins drive away but you would still be able to enjoye the peacefulness of the mountain.

Amazing place with great vibes. Location was great with Himalayan range Views, on site staff was very accommodating, food was great. Worth money what we spent for.

The property is good, but the service provided by the staff truly enhances the experience. They are always available to assist and guide you. The food, particularly the local Kumaoni cuisine prepared by Tara Singh, was a hit with everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay.

Thank you for sharing this special haven with us—it was an unforgettable experience. We were there for good 3 days and never felt bored. The 2 adorable dogs just add more to this, my daughter simply couldn't get over them and she missed them all her way back :) We look forward to come back to this in case Ramgarh becomes a destination again ... Complete value for money (you could have charged even more lol ).

We are frequent travellers , have stayed at many cottages in mukteshwar and it’s surrounding regions…but this place ..Casa saara ,of Capt Nitin Anand ji is something else ..this is a beautiful cottage built by captain with perfect location in sitla ,lush green surroundings with 3 side entrance ..lots of trees,lots of sitting places ,full of natural beauty and fresh air everywhere …tasty home food served by cook deepak …beside this captain and Co host surendra are so friendly and responsive that you will love to stay at this place and would carry beautiful memories with you ..if you are a pizza and coffee lover ,than do visit cafe Awara in near by Sitla market,managed by surendra and his wife…would love to visit again and again …thanks a lot nitin ji for your super hospitality.

Bessies cottage is a wonderful place in Peora. Located in a very peaceful surrounding with a driveway, it has three bedrooms two on the groudfloor and one on the top floor adjoining the terrace. The place is very clean with amenities like heater, kettle, geyser, washing machine and fridge required for a great stay. The lawn adjoining the house is very pretty with beautiful flowers and sitting area. On a clear day there is a great view of the snow clad range from the lawn and the terrace. The highlight of the stay was the personal attention by Kamal bhaiya the caretaker who not only cooked delicious meals as per our taste but also pampered to every need. Extremely polite he takes care of all guests like his own family. We had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

We spent 3 days including New Year's Eve at Aikkya. Their place is ideally located with great views, peace and quiet. Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated and was very clean. We liked the fact that their cottages are built with local building techniques, are sustainable and still have the modern amenities and comforts. We especially loved the common lounge/dining area with it's wood burning stove. It's the ideal place to chill, get to meet the other guests, eat and drink. Shivani and Avijeet go to great lengths to cater to the tastes of each of their guests, cooking different cuisines and offering variety. We had some delicious meals and got to taste an authentic Kumaoni spread. At the end of our stay, we left knowing that we will be back.
