I am Raju Mody my age is 63 and wife is Parul Mody , we both wanted to live in the mountains for 1 month , our first priority was home made food , location , mountain village life , which has lots of tracks and trail around , neat and clean rooms , we found that at The Himalayan Breeze hosted by Tarunji and Neetuji, they are v friendly and will make you feel like you are staying with your own family , Tarunji is a very nice person and with heart of gold and a pet lovers who cares a lot about environment, Nature and all animals around you he made us feel as though he was our brother , Neetuji is an awesome cook we ate all the Pahadi cuisine like Bhatt ki Chudkani , Bhatt ki dall , bhang ki chatni , Pahadi desi eggs , Pahadi chicken and mutton , gahat ki dal , beans , and very meal was special and v good taste , shout out to Nituji , Gullu our guide took us on trail and track walks they arranged a picnic in jungle , any one wants a long stay experience just go for it 5 star rating 👍

This is great stay in middle of nature! Going there can be bit of a challenge as you have to walk 300 meters downhill, but once you go there, you are greeted with amazing hosts - they are super friendly and very simple. The view is amazing, super pleasant super quiet, network is good, food is homely and its just amazing! Highly recommended

We were a group of 5 people staying at the Whistling Woods for 2 nights. The stay was very comfortable, and the personal touch of care and hospitality by Vipin uncle was a cherry on the top! He is very hardworking. The location is beautifully tucked in between a lush green forest area - extremely peaceful. The air is so clean and pure, and you can see many different species of birds. Vipin uncle and his wife also cook very tasty food at a minimal cost, and serve it with loads of love!

Idyllic Haven Heritage is a property situated in the middle of the jungle near Jageshwar Temple. Getting to the property requires a short 200m walk from the road which is a good thing because you are away from the hustle-bustle of traffic, and everyday life. Once you reach the property, you'll feel right at home. It is well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious. What makes this place special is that it's run by locals, providing an authentic experience of Kumaon's local culture. The food offered by the hosts is entirely organic and authentic. If you are looking to try local cuisine, I highly recommend their Kumauni Thali. If you're staying here for 2-3 days, you should visit Jageshwar Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is an ancient temple. You can also go for a jungle walk or a village walk to learn more about the villagers' lifestyle. Overall, I can say this has been one of my best experiences in the Kumaon region. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
