We had a fantastic stay in Caldelas and thoroughly enjoyed the villa as our base to explore northern Portugal. It is a beautiful house in a stunning, countryside location and the views from every room in the house never got tiring! There is plenty of space in the villa for 6 people and the garden and barbecue areas are also spacious and kept very clean. The host was in regular contact and was very responsive to the odd query we had. On a day to day basis, Miss Paula was often around on the estate and offered advice and help whenever we asked for it. ‘Peolo’, the farm dog became one of our party and we all miss seeing him around every day! He was such a friendly and well behaved dog; we had no issues at all with him spending time with us when we were at the villa! Would absolutely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful location with fantastic views of the Portuguese countryside. We certainly plan on returning at some point!

The environment and listing match the listing description. The place is peaceful for those looking for tranquility, mountain views and a lake, swimming pool on site, football and volleyball court and an air of play for children. To go to restaurants and center you need a car. You are about a 30 minute drive from Parc Nacional du Gères. I highly recommend this place. Hosts are very responsive and respond very quickly to expectations and requests. I'll definitely be back.

It was an experience marked by peace, silence and comfort, perfect for disconnecting from the world and renewing energy. The moments together were even more special thanks to the welcoming and thoughtful atmosphere of this space. I leave with the feeling of having really rested, body and mind. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I undoubtedly hope to return.
