We had a fantastic 10-day stay in this home. Ines and her father were very welcome and helpful. Such a beautiful, spotlessly clean and spacious home and very pretty garden. We definitely hope to return. Many thanks for all your kindness.

We stayed 4 nights in Elisa's lovely apartment, using it as a base for day trips each day in a different direction. It's a nice space to spend time in, and we really enjoyed the amount of light and private, peaceful view in the mornings when we woke up and had breakfast. The location is great in general, very easy to walk to restaurants or take a stroll around central Braga. Elisa was very responsive and helpful at all times. We had a car, and were able to get by using on-street parking. The spots were paid parking, but it's free from 7pm-9am (and Sundays), and we were gone most of the day, so we only ended up having to pay for a few hours each day, at about a Euro an hour, and were able to pay via an app (EasyPark), which made it simple to extend the time as needed.

A public square features bronze sculptures depicting traditional rural characters and activities. Colorful flowerbeds line the square, and a mix of historical and contemporary buildings can be seen in the background. The sky has a soft blue hue, suggesting early morning or late afternoon light.

Beautiful place to stay, central location in the region. We visited Braga and Porto and further north. Nice recommendations from João and he was always responsive with communication. Best to have a small car as the road up is steep and narrow. The house and annex are very comfortable and well equipped.

We loved our stay at Rosa’s. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We made great use of the bbq and pool which was a real luxury. Nothing was too much trouble and Rosa’s family were extremely helpful. We will definitely go back. X

What a fabulous place!!! Casa do Monte exceeded all our expectations and provided a relaxing and luxurious base near Barcelos for our 3 families holiday. The host was so helpful, friendly and flexible with check in times. The house is magnificent with a huge garden for the kids to explore and the swimming pool provided plenty of entertainment and the opportunity to cool down on the hot days!! The kitchen has everything you could need during your stay and the veranda boasts a magnificent view to eat your meals in front of, watch the sunsets and see the fireworks from nearby festivals. We feel very lucky to have had our holiday here and would love to return one day!!
