This cozy apartment is fully accommodated and furnished as our family with two kids lives here in winter time. It has oak tree parquet, renovated widows, a small kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating. The sight from the windows features towers of the New Castle and the church of St. John. Apartment surrounded by two parks. The May Park (with the black swans and playground) is across the street. The Medieval castle is around the corner. Free car park is available in the yard, a nice extra.

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Castle Park Apartment with sunset veranda

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. Built in 2017, this private 60 m2 winter-proof wooden house has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with an open kitchen. There is also an electric sauna and terrace that opens up to a meadow that is being naturally rewilded into a forest. Lots of natural light, AC, heated floors, a fully equipped kitchen, sauna and 4G wi-fi will provide a comfortable and relaxing stay in all seasons. Treehouse Čiekurs(cone) is located 3 km from city Cēsis,90 km from capital Riga and located in Gauja National Park,surrounded by the pine forest.A great place to enjoy nature at its city noise,no rush,just peace.The nearest shop ~3 km. Houses with an air conditioner(heating and cooling). WC located in the separate house on the ground.You can take sauna or hot tub (available for extra payment) and take a swim in the lake. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
