The property is also ideally located for visits to the snow, wineries, the North East gourmet region, lakes or for just chilling out and relaxing. Upton Hill Cottage is a self-catering 2BR cottage 20 minutes drive into the hills from the Hume Freeway. It is surrounded by vineyards, cherry orchards, pastures & bushland. At 475m ASL the cottage has panoramic views of the Strathbogie Ranges & Goulburn Valley to. Guests can meet the livestock, ramble, birdwatch, cycle, observe native flora & fauna, fish, do scenic tours, marvel at the ancient granite formations of the unique Strathbogie batholith, & enjoy local wineries, music & restaurants.

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.
