Sylvie et son mari sont d’excellents hôtes ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous La maison est spacieuse agréable et l’emplacement est magnifique la vue le calme . Rien à dire sur la propreté du logement au top!! Il m est difficile de trouver un défaut je vous l’assure. Merci Sylvie pour la petite bouteille de cidre, nous l’avons bien apprécié. Langt ude i en lille by på landet, lå Katrines dejlige hus og have, hvor vi nød at være. Det hele var pænt og ordentligt. Katrine er meget venlig og imødekommende og så taler hun norsk, hvilket var skønt for os danskere. 3-5 minutter væk lå en anden lidt større by, med kirke, supermarked, to bagere, caféer og spisesteder. Gode steder med dejlig mad og god betjening. Katrines hus og alt andet kan kun anbefales.

Very nice and cosy small house. Close to the beach, which in May was not crowded. Very private and calm area. Owners prepared the apartment before the actual check-in time, which was very nice. Another nice gesture was local cider and cookies. On top of that we received handful of recommendations about what to do in the Cotentin region. Everything was perfect. I am sure we will be back again.

Super emplacement et logement ppur passer la nuit aux portes de Cherbourg et se réveiller face à la mer. Propreté irréprochable et communication parfaite.

As other reviews, say, this is a fantastic place to stay. The manoir itself is stunning and our wing, the pressoir, was plenty big enough for us ((family with adult sons). Christophe has spent 14 years on renovations, so the facilities are excellent. Beds were really comfortable with shutters on all windows to keep light out. The kitchen was very well equipped including a large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Shower gels, soaps etc all provided. We made use of the tennis court and walked in Bayeux every day ...20 min walk along the river or you can go direct past the railway station. Christophe is very friendly and spoke great English. The only thing to be aware of is there are plenty of stairs. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area!

Tout c’est très bien passé comme d’habitude quand nous venons à Carteret que nous adorons pour son calme et la beauté de ses paysages. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’appartement très agréable, pratique, joliment aménagé et décoré. A 2 pas des dunes et proche des plages c’est un petit cocon paisible propice à la déconnexion. It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would recommend staying here to anyone. Nicholas was very responsive and accommodating. After 10 days traveling in Europe as a family, it was so nice to have some space to spread out in rather than staying another night in a hotel. There was a washing machine which we took advantage of to have some clean clothes to get us through the rest of the trip. The AirBnb is in a great location! Walkable to the Bayeux Tapestry, Bayeux Cathedral and lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Un super séjour au bord de la mer. Le logement de Morgane est parfait ! Il est beau, propre, pratique, bien situé et plus encore. L'intérieur est très bien conçu, spacieux et comfortable. Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin est à disposition. Le jardin est magnifique, bien exposé et surtout bien clôturé (idéal avec notre chien). Le jacuzzi est le + auquel nous n'aurions pas pensé mais dont nous avons profité avec plaisir. La plage est toute proche, la ville est jolie et calme et Morgane a de bonne suggestion si vous cherchez des activités dans les alentours. Nous avons vraiment passé une belle semaine, encore merci à nos hôtes pour leur super logement et leur réactivité pour répondre à nos questions. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Super logement, agréable, belle terrasse, maison très fonctionnelle. Nous étions six nous avons passé un super week-end. Merci à Stephanie pour son accueil et Maison super bien situé à 2, rue de la mer il n’y a pas eu de surprise. Les photos correspondent bien à la maison et si j’ai retourné par là-bas, j’essaierai de ravoir la même maison, je recommande.

Logement très qualitatif, qui correspond aux descriptions, permettant de passer un excellent séjour. Les lits sont très confortables, le bain à remou très grand et la cuisine très fonctionnelle. A 2km des plages et cabanes de Gouville, rien à redire

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Une grande maison très agréable. une grande véranda pour nos longs repas du midi et du soir. un grande cour fermé goudronnée avec un terrain de petanque et des jeux pour les enfants un endroit très calme à proximité de la plage et des principaux commerces. je recommande vivement

Villa idéale pour un séjour en famille. Décorée et aménagée pour les visiteurs avec beaucoup d'attention. Également très propre. Les activités et lieux de visite à proximité sont nombreux. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.
