The popular Haukland beach is located about 15 minutes from the cabin. Leknes town, airport and hurtigruten ferry a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

New and well equipped cabin with beautiful sea and mountain views! The cabin is located close to the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature. It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Great opportunities to go mountain hiking nearby, or try your luck with fishing. The cabin is Idyllically located on Gjermesøy, outside Ballstad, which is an active fishing village today. Completed in 2018, modern, high standard and plenty of room. Nearby, there are many great hiking areas. Possibility of bike tours, excursions with local fishing boat, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayak tours, Restaurants, Pub etc. The place is in the middle of Lofoten with 1 hour drive to Å in the west and Svolvær in the east. Shopping area Leknes and Leknes Airport are approximately 15 minutes away. Rorbu has stunning views of Lofotveggen, Mosken and Værøy

The cabin is in Ballstad - in the heart of Lofoten and perfect for a visit to the world's most spectacular archipelago. Dette koselige huset er opprinnelig en gammel skole fra begynnelsen av 1900-tallet. Det er oppusset og i god stand, samtidig som den gamle stilen er bevart. My place is near the sea, family-friendly activities, nightlife, nature and the airport. You will love my place because of the view, the location and the atmosphere. One can enjoy the silence. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). We generally close the cabin in the winter, but if you would like to visit Lofoten in the winter, please send us a request and we can discuss.

Life jackets included. Gasoline to be provided by the tenant; there are gas cans.

Original Rorbu with sauna and wilderness bath

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
