The popular Haukland beach is located about 15 minutes from the cabin. Leknes town, airport and hurtigruten ferry a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Great opportunities to go mountain hiking nearby, or try your luck with fishing. Nearby, there are many great hiking areas. Possibility of bike tours, excursions with local fishing boat, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayak tours, Restaurants, Pub etc. The place is in the middle of Lofoten with 1 hour drive to Å in the west and Svolvær in the east. Shopping area Leknes and Leknes Airport are approximately 15 minutes away. Rorbu has stunning views of Lofotveggen, Mosken and Værøy

Best location in Hamnøy One guests feedback requires an explanation: My 5 guests from Asia complained that the hot water ran out when showering. This is the first time in the 180 feedbacks I have received. I explained that there is 200 liters of hot water, once this is used up it takes 30 minutes to heat up again. If all the guests shower for a very long time and right after each other, you have to wait 30 minutes for new hot water.

My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). We generally close the cabin in the winter, but if you would like to visit Lofoten in the winter, please send us a request and we can discuss.

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
