Within a radius of 300 meters you will find a shop, a craft shop with a café, and Den Sorte Gryte, which offers fun activities for children with animal visits, a restaurant and the sale of award-winning cheese. (Note: Den Sorte Gryte and café are open during the summer season, June-August)

Good starting point for mountain hikes or hikes on the coastal trail located right below the cabin. Go on a discovery trip in bunkers from the Second World War at the abandoned Nes fort, or check out rock carvings within walking distance of the cabin. Vestbygd boasts spectacular views in the form of steep mountains, turquoise water, white beaches and not least the northern lights. 100 m up the street is a grocery store and right next to it is Den Sorte Gryte. There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. We have boat and bikes for rent.

Our cosy countryside cabin is for rent. The cabin lays in a farmyard with great view over lovely farmland and lake. It is a perfect base for leisure activities such as bicycling, sea kayaking, hiking and fishing or to just relax and play in the garden. In wintertime (from September) you will have the opportunity to spectacular views of the northern light just outside the cabin. In the barn there are both pool and ping-pong at your disposal.
