We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It made our Hahndorf experience so much more memorable.

What an amazing place! The fire was crackling on our arrival. A beautiful cake, bread and an abundance of breakfast supplies were provided. The bubbles and anniversary chocolate were a very thoughtful touch. Thank you. I have rarely seen this level of thought and care executed in furnishing and decorating a space. Everything you could possibly want was provided down to eye/face masks and bath bombs in hands reach from the beautiful claw foot bath. We have already recommended Under the Oaks to friends. Candice’s place was perfect. It was well located, beautiful garden, light filled, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. We stayed during a particularly cold week but were warm and cosy. We felt very welcome, with the heating on, the fire set, and generous breakfast provisions left for us. Thanks Candice

mark was a fantastic host, very warm, friendly and approachable. on arrival there was a lovely welcome basket containing fruit and. homemade muffins that marks wife had made The room was clean and spacious. The location was peaceful and perfect for trips to Handorf, Stirling. Strathalbyn etc. We will definitely be back.
