A central, very nice, cozy place, I would stay again at José's and I recommend it for anyone, whether for short or even long stays, it is very versatile!

I am a traveler with my family looking to build lifetime memories in Costa Rica. Jose and his mother were also there available for some excellent recommendations. From where to get seafood, the best kept secret hot water springs that the locals visit, to the most scenic ATV tours and how to get a massage on their gorgeous patio by the pool. What Jose and his family have built over generations exudes pride, beauty and tranquility. We have experienced good to very bad Air Bnb experiences over the years. There is always the voice in the back of my head, "I hope the home is as nice as it is described by the description and photos. "I can tell you first hand that it exceeded our expectations. It is clear that they take pride in making everyone's stay memorable. Final note, Jerry (the private chef) and his wife are the most down to earth couple. If you want to experience Costa Rica on a next level, one bite of their creations will take you there!

This place is very basic and we just stayed here We had a great stay for a night! The place was super clean and everything worked just as described. We do prefer a bit more comfort in our linens and bedding, but the ones provided were okay. There’s only one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. It would’ve been better if there were two single beds, since the bedroom is large. You could separate or join them based on what your guests prefer. Oh, and there are some stray and neighbor owned dogs that live nearby and sometimes hang out around the property if you’re outside in the back or front. They’re friendly and harmless, but they might not be the best for people who are scared of dogs.

Pretty good place. Very central and easily accessible. 1.5 km from the sunflower field and just as seen in the photos. In turn, Johnny was very understanding, given that due to a situation, my girlfriend and I could not go on the initial date that was scheduled and in order not to lose it, he helped us move it. Overall, very happy.
