Bearing in mind that Casa do Ilhéu is on a slope, it is not recommended for people with motor difficulties and small children. Aldeia da Encosta - AL 302

Modern vacation house implanted on the hang above the small town of Velas, in São Jorge Island, with a unique view over the ocean channel between the triangle islands (São Jorge, Pico and Faial). They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.
