Free wifi. Great house for four guests, we provide a baby crib with bed linen. Great view. You can park your car in front of the cottage.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Our property is centrally located to explore the nature wonders of the south. Build 2017 in modern yet cosy style. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from the ring road no 1. Most nature attractions in the central south Iceland are within 95 minutes drive from us. It is located in one of the most beautiful part of Iceland on a 140 hectares of land, in between the two big glaciers in the south Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

There is just a five minute walk up the lavafield to an waterfall in Syðri-Ófæra that we call Huldufoss. The lavafield provides a good cover for Hólaskjól so there is almost never much wind there. There are excellent hiking trails in the area and up to Eldgjá.

This place is located in a beautiful location, has lots of space, a very nice great room with tons of windows and good amenities. We very much enjoyed the views and having a nice open kitchen for cooking. Further, the inside sauna was enjoyable and easy to use. The hot tub is wood-fired, so it requires about 5 hours to get going - which we couldn't make work for a one-night stay, but they do disclose that in the onsite information. The location is very secluded - which is great for outdoor privacy. They even had a full washer / dryer - which is helpful compared to the combined version. Overall, this is a great place - you should feel comfortable booking.

The Nature Park is a beautiful hub to explore south Iceland - the views are amazing and the surrounds serene. The homes are sleek and very well equipped. The sauna served us well, as did the hot tub. Just know that the hot tubs are wood-fired, and take 3-4 hours to get up to temperature, so start the process as soon as you check in if you want a dip. Once it gets up to temperature, it can stay very hot for several hours.

Good location, modern and clean accommodation. Private kitchen and living room with all the amenities you need. Very clean shared showers and a little extra, washing machine and dryer (1000kr = €7). The host, Elsa, was very welcoming and available. We had fresh, homemade bread in the morning. We recommend it!

Wonderful unique and beautiful place to stay in. We enjoyed the included breakfast at the restaurant next door. The restaurant included had many different instruments and the host played some music for us. He also allowed our friend to play the piano as well!
