House vacation rentals in Varkala cliff

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb in Kovalam, Kerala, and it was an absolute delight. The property was immaculately clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding. The host/caretaker Vishnu went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing thoughtful amenities. The location was a bit far away from Main Street. I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Kovalam.

Decent place to stay if you are on a vacation. Relatively close to the beach, and has a pretty decent pool too

The stay was planned as a getaway with family which included elderly parents and 4 others in their 30's. The pool was decent sized and the rooms were all neat with a traditional feel, which really made the parents at ease. Restaurant, beach and other amenities were very close and accessible. It was an easy going experience with no tension in the air. The host Nishal was an absolute gent and was with us whenever we needed him. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to families and groups of adult friends to hang out.

Great property with all amenities. Highly recommended. Only challenge was to reach to this property. Well maintained house with excellent amenities including clean swimming pool.

The suite was exceptional, providing a peaceful and relaxing holiday experience. The room's appearance precisely matched the provided photographs. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and readily available to assist with any needs. Getting to Edava Beach was easy from the property. The only downside was some drunk people hanging around the entrance and staring which was a bit annoying when we walked to the beach.

The property and the views from there are beautiful and for us it was a lovely place to get wedding ready. The pool and beautiful surroundings make it a really wonderful place; the breakfast was amazing, too. But what stood out most was the extremely caring and lovely care taker, Vipin. Vipin answered to each and every request, be it a late night hair dryer or very early morning coffee. We could not be happier with his care and responsiveness he made sure my family and I felt right at home and could relax and enjoy the beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for more, our biggest thanks to him!

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The family is staying adjacent to this house and are very friendly and helpful. They are proactive and caring. Varkala beach,cliff,black sand beach,Janardhana temple etc. are walkable distance from this place. It's good for solo traveller's aswell. Sreevishak and family made me very comfortable during my stay. Thank you so much for all your help and wish I could come there soon and enjoy your hospitality again.

Rajna was proactive from the very strat and gave good local recommendations to check out. The property was located near to the North Cliff hence accessibility to the beaches and cafes was good; also, the property itself was located in a peaceful neighborhood making it a perfect place for a quiet getaway.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Jithin's place. It's located in a prime spot, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

Had a wholesome stay here. Extremely family-friendly and Mrs. Latha made the stay even more comfortable with her prompt assistance throughout. The home is beautiful, calm and positive with all the facilities needed. The locality too is quite peaceful and accessible.. Overall we loved our stay here and honestly wished to stay for longer than we could.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Thekkini Home Stay. The host Gokul was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The property was definitely the way it was described….. Peaceful Serene are the 2 words I can describe it….. This was a 4BHK property with one room in the ground floor and 3 rooms in the upper segment. 2 rooms had attached bathroom…. whereas another 2 bathrooms are present in the ground floor and the landing area…. Have to mention that the kitchen was well stocked with amenities for cooking…We were a group of 9 people ….. thoroughly enjoyed the stay….. Vinod was the person who helped us out in checking in….. many good restaurants veg and non veg are present in a vicinity of 2km…. and there is one small shop bang opposite to the villa wherein you can get all the necessary essentials including tea and coffee incase you are not in a mood to prepare….. This location is around 5 Kms away from the Varakala beach away from the hustle and bustle…. But yes one thing you definitely need a vehicle for travelling around….

Five stars for the views! If you are looking for a serene morning views and ocean sounds at night, this is the place. We booked the entire home with two bedrooms. It was easy to communicate with the contact and care taker, Vinod. He is at the property and is very helpful. The location of the actual home which is through a 5 star beachfront resort and requires a good 10 min walk/hike. We had kids and we did not mind walking. Place is worth the visit. Thiruvananthapuram port which is among the largest port is visible on the far right from the property but it did not bother us. I would highly recommend the property. Vinod and team served us warm breakfast in the morning. With some arrangement, you have access to the 5 star resort. We were there for the Christmas Eve and were able to attend a fancy Christmas Eve party entertainment although we did not pay for it. Vinod can explain better how they made that arrangement. Vinod arranged to take care of our four large luggage.

Location and overall experience was good. TV was not working and curtains and blinds were dusty and dirty. More dishes for cooking was needed in the kitchen.

We stayed at Vidhu's place as a last minute plan to avoid the drive back home right after a long tiring day in Trivandrum. What started as an unplanned stay turned out to be the best part of our trip. The place was absolutely beautiful and every corner of the house was picture perfect. Vidhu was very responsive and guided us through everything we needed. The care taker Stephen was also a delight to chat with. The only negative bit was not having spent longer there. A must visit, highly recommended.

It never felt like a rented place.. home away from home❤️ Mamtha was soo welcoming and and I felt like im going to my sister’s place. Yummy surprise welcome gift was waiting for me… Anita was sooo kind and she explained everything in detail so that u dont have to worry about anything. Everything was taken care by her. I felt like staying there for few more days. And definitely im gonna come again and again and again for sure… 5 star is not enough…!! ❤️❤️❤️

Had an Excellent Homestay like my home. A peaceful area without any disturbances and temples and restaurants nearby. Rooms with neat furniture and linen. Enjoyed our stay. Hats off to Mr Irfan
