The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

Clovers Cabin

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

The Alabama Beaver House

Our family (of 4 + dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alabama Beaver House. We utilized the convenient fire pit for s’mores every night and enjoyed exploring the surrounding woods. It was conveniently located 8 minutes from the tennis tournament we attended and about 15 minutes from all of our other activities (mini golf, bowling, swimming hole, University campus, and shopping). The house was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Also, our dog felt right at home. Christine was incredibly helpful and promptly answered my many questions throughout our stay.

Erin’s place was a great place for my girlfriend and I on our visit to Tuscaloosa. She was very responsive to any questions and her instructions were great. We were treated by their dog when we pulled into the drive, but as pet parents we understood the dog was being protective. The room was great place. Very clean, peaceful and quiet for us. We’ll definitely return next time we come up to Tuscaloosa area. Highly recommend to anyone.

The Hideaway was great for our stay. The space is clean and inviting. The furnishings comfortable. We were 4 adults so the bunk bed room was a little tight but it worked just fine. Had to do some remote meetings and the wifi worked as described. Autumn was quick to respond and very friendly.
