Our stay was very nice. This is a newly built home and very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming as well.
An en-suite bathroom features modern fixtures, including a white toilet and a sink with a single faucet. A wall-mounted mirror is positioned above the sink, and toiletries in green containers are neatly arranged on the countertop. The walls are tiled in a light, neutral tone.

I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay. The place was very clean, my room was as I expected. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always very helpful. The meals were all very authentic and full of the flavours of Jaffna (as requested by me), simply delicious! I was able to get to all the spots I planned as it’s easy access to all the local areas of interest as well as Jaffna town. I definitely will be staying there on my next visit! Can’t recommend them enough.
The two-story house is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring tall trees and well-maintained shrubs. The exterior showcases a blend of traditional and modern architectural elements, with large windows that invite natural light into the interior. A stone pathway leads to the entrance.

I had a pleasant stay in crosette villa which was made better by the presence of Vimala Aunty who was very lovely kind and attentive during our stay. I will definitely return again for my next visit to Jaffna.

We had a fabulous stay, and the hosts are friendly and helpful! Great place!

I had a fantastic stay at Lanka Real Estate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a wonderful garden that adds to its charm. The host and staff are incredibly kind and helpful, making sure that every guest feels welcome and taken care of. I’m especially grateful for their effort in arranging a bicycle for me, which allowed me to explore Jaffna and the surrounding islands in an active and enjoyable way. The rooms and bathrooms are designed to a high and very comfortable standard, ensuring a relaxing stay. The location is also a big plus – it’s close enough for seaside walks, and you’ll find fishing boats and local fishing spots nearby. Despite this, there’s no unpleasant smell, just an authentic coastal atmosphere. I also really appreciated having drinking water available in the room – a thoughtful detail that makes a difference. Overall, I highly recommend this place and am truly happy I chose to stay here!

Raj was extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Great to have tea, coffee, water for a small donation. Delicious and very generous breakfast for a very reasonable charge. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. We would definitely consider staying again if we return to Jaffna.

Mangotree Homestay

I spent 3 nights with Heyu, Micha, and little Anami (plus the dogs) and have never felt so welcomed. I learned so much about Heyu’s village, Tamil culture, and the history of Jaffna, as well as some of the wonderful projects Heyu and and Micha are leading in the town. I left feeling like I gained new friends and a deep appreciation for a region I’d never visited before, but most certainly will return to. This was a fantastic homestay experience that I’ll highly recommend to anyone.
