It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. La Longère

This accommodation is at the entrance to the oldest farmhouse in the village, located about 25km from Reims, 10km from Epernay, 15km from Hautvillers and 5km from Ay, in the birthplace of Champagne. Nichée au cœur des vignes, notre maison est située à Courmas, dans le Parc naturel de la Montagne de Reims, à environ 13 km de Reims. Le gîte Les Chapitres, labellisé 3 épis Gîtes de France, dispose d’un accès indépendant et peut accueillir jusqu’à 4 personnes. Le linge de lit et les serviettes sont fournis. Une place de stationnement est disponible à proximité du gîte. Location de vélos électriques possible sur demande pour découvrir la région.

A warm and comfortable 17th century house that sleeps up to eight people. The authentic charm, the countryside, the garden, and the swimming pool shared with our second gite (under video surveillance) will help you recharge your batteries in a peaceful setting (swimming pool from May 15, weather permitting). The restaurant (a few meters away) is located in a 1930s-style winter garden and offers traditional French cuisine.
