Sehr netter Aufenthalt, alles innerhalb weniger Gehminuten wunderbar erreichbar (Altstadt, Supermarkt, Drogerie, diverse Restaurants, Apotheke etc). Tolle Gegend mit vielen kleinen Gassen. Sylke ist sehr hilfsbereit und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Vielen Dank!

Nous avons passé une nuit parfaite dans la dépendance de Louis. La maison a été rénovée avec soin et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût ainsi que des équipements très moderne. Le poile a pellets chauffe la pièce très rapidement, il ajoute un belle ambiance dans la pièce. On a très bien dormi dans l’énorme lit KingSize, le matelas et literie sont haut de gamme. Des prestations digne d’un hôtel. Et en plus une vue imprenable sur les vallons et la croix de Charneux depuis le salon ou la terrasse. Nous recommandons.

Der Aufenthalt war teils Urlaub, teils aufgrund familiärer Gründe. Die Unterkunft fühlt sich wie eine kleine Oase der Ruhe an. Man wohnt unmittelbar am Zentrum der Stadt Aachen, hat aber eine Unterkunft mitten im Grünen. Es ist nachdem man das Haus betritt angenehm ruhig. Die Ortschaft Vaals ist eine wunderschöne kleine Ortschaft, die man ebenfalls fußläufig gerne erkundet. Die warme Atmosphäre durch die Holzbalken im Steinverbund des Gästehauses sieht man auf den Fotos nicht, ebenfalls nicht die dazu passend gewählte Einrichtung. Das Wichtigste ist jedoch der angenehme freundliche Kontakt zur Familie. Man kann zu allen Problemen schnell mal eine Frage stellen und bekommt eine Antwort. Genauso aber auch einfach im Garten seine Ruhe genießen, wenn man nach Entdeckungen von Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung erschöpft ist. Meine mitreisenden Kinder wollten den Urlaub am liebsten noch fortsetzen.

Eine ganz wunderbare Unterkunft im Grünen mit herrlichem Panoramablick aus den beiden grossen Schlafzimmerfenstern. Fabiola ist eine aufmerksame und liebevolle Gastgeberin. Es gab leckere frische Erdbeeren von ihr und ein tolles Begrüßungsgeschenk. Sie stand uns mit Rat und Tat und Tipps zur Seite. Die Ruhe hier war sehr wohltuend, die Betten äusserst bequem. Platz in den Schränken war reichlich vorhanden. Die Kitchenette ermöglichte uns mit Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle auch, hier unser Frühstück und kleine warme Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Wenn es nicht so viel geregnet hätte, hätten wir sogar draussen auf unser eigenen Terrasse essen können... mit Blick in den riesigen Garten und die dahinterliegenden unverbauten grünen Hügel. Wir empfehlen dieses schöne Quartier sehr, Epen ist ein toller Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Gegend zum Wandern, mit Rad und Auto.

Freistehendes Ferienhaus "Maison Marguerite"

Het huisje ligt vrij met een prachtig uitzicht over een vijver en weiland met allerlei vogels. Je kan heerlijk buiten zitten in de zon of schaduw. Het huisje zelf is erg comfortabel. De vloerverwarming maakte het zeer behaaglijk. Je slaapt in dezelfde ruimte wat dus ook relatief warm is. De keuken heeft alles wat je wilt. Vanuit het huisje loop je snel het Vijlenerbos in, met diverse wandelingen, ook vlakbij 't Hijgend Hert. Wij hebben veel gefietst en gewandeld en daarvoor ligt het huisje ook erg centraal. Voor diverse winkels en de beste bakkers (lees: vlaaien) liggen Vaals (<10 min) en Gulpen (15 min) dichtbij met de auto. De communicatie met de host verliep erg vlot.
