The house itself was nice, but our entire experience was ruined by the host’s behavior after our stay. 8 days after we checked out and AFTER another guest had already stayed there - the host filed a damage claim against us for a broken picture frame. If we had actually caused any damage, I 100% would have disclosed it and paid for it up front.

What makes this feel incredibly dishonest is that we were in direct communication with the hosts for days after checkout to arrange the return of a forgotten item, and there was ZERO mention of any issue at the time. The only reason we couldn’t pick up the item sooner was because new guests were already staying at the property—clearly showing that someone else had been there before the damage was even brought up.

On top of that, the host repeatedly messaged us asking for a 5-star review, which felt incredibly pushy and inappropriate.

This whole situation came off as scammy and has completely undermined any positives about the house. AVOID!!!!!
