The apartment was very spacious in a lovely old building in a very quiet street. It was just around the corner from the bus stop and it a bit further in the opposite direction to the underground station. The flat is on the 3rd floor so lots of stairs.
I think the explanation of luxury is a bit different to mine as the unit needed a bit of attention. There was rotting skirting boards in the bathroom, a broken door handle to the bedroom and the bed-side light was broken.
There were pods for the coffee machine but if you are a tea drinker you better bring your own, also there was no sugar.
I thought it was great having a dishwasher whilst on holiday but there was only one tablet, when staying for a week this wasn’t enough, so we thought we would hand wash but there was no tea towel.
We sometimes like to cook for ourselves so we chose an apartment with a kitchen, but there were no trays or dishes for the oven, there were plenty of saucepans and frypans though. If you don’t provide items for the oven then a microwave would have been helpful.
It was great having a washing machine, the heater kept us toasty warm and the heated towel rail worked well., also the bed was comfy.
So a little bit more attention and maintenance to the apartment would make this a good place to stay.
