Doug and Richard made us feel extremely welcome as soon as they greeted us upon arrival. Their home is delightfully filled with the history of their lives - art, collections, decor, trinkets, and three adorable cats. The bedroom is really large with sofas, table and chairs, and you can slip in and chill out if you do not want to be in the communal area.
The home is just like the pictures: full of character and love. Although both Doug and Rich are extremely friendly (and will happily recommend eateries, sights, transport etc), they also respect our privacy and know when we need a little quiet time. We couldn’t ask for more. This is not a hotel. This is a home. We can’t recommend it high enough and are sorry to leave.

Doug und Richard sind sehr liebe, freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen.
Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten ein schönes, großes Zimmer und ein bequemes Bett. Richard hat uns jeden Morgen ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück zubereitet.
Es gibt auch einen schönen Garten zum Entspannen.
Wir können die Unterkunft jedem Gast sehr empfehlen.

Very friendly and flexible hosts. I honestly didn’t spend much time in the flat because I was exploring SF, it’s super cute and the cat cuddles I got one morning were a big bonus.
