Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Upper Normandy

We had a very enjoyable short stay at Helenes beautiful cottage. It was just as it looked in the photos etc. It was immaculate inside and Helene always responded quickly to any questions. The gardens were a great place to relax in and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Staying in the chapel is an extraordinary, wonderful experience. This chapel has been completely renovated by Iris, with incredible talent. If I had to remember a few elements, it would be the feeling of space, the inverted boat hull frame, the stained glass window adjoining the bedroom, the papier-mâché jars, the garden at the back, etc. It's a perfect place to meet, in a village where life is good. Iris is a caring and learned host, who will tell you the whole story of the place. Looking forward to coming back!

I loved my little house in this beautiful environment. Perfect relaxation... And a nice and delicious little restaurant/pizzeria on the terrace in front of the beautiful church. The owners were lovely. I look forward to returning in 3 weeks! Sabine

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

It was lovely staying in Pascale's place close to the heart of Lyons-la-Forêt. It's a quaint, medieval village and the Airbnb is a 5 minute walk to the village centre. It's exactly as described and looks like it does in the photos, and Pascale is a very responsive and friendly host. The stairs up to the second bedroom are quite narrow so not for someone with accessibility issues, otherwise it's a perfect base for exploring the village and the surrounding region. Thank you!

We had a great time at Manon's, our dog was able to enjoy the garden in the sun when we weren't hiking. We were looking for peace and quiet, we found it. It was a pleasure to return to this perfectly tidy and clean-smelling accommodation. The decor was carefully chosen. Thank you for your responsiveness!!

We had a great time with the family. Séverine is available and very attentive (Norman pie and Easter chocolates). The accommodation is clean we were able to easily enjoy all the amenities provided jaccuzi ping pong table and heated pool. Our children enjoyed a stay which was made very pleasant by Séverine we will come back for sure.

We had a very good night at this charming village house close to the sea. Everything was as described and we were even able to meet Xavier at the nearby pool (covered and heated).

This was the most beautiful Airbnb house I have ever rented – hands down. Dominique was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire stay felt like a pure vacation dream. The house is located in one of the most stunning regions I’ve ever seen – the landscape, the view, the garden, everything is just magical. The kitchen, the interior design, every little detail – it’s like stepping into another world. I’ve truly never seen anything this beautiful. As mentioned in the description, the pool was cold, but having a pool like this is such a gift – we used it every single day and loved it. Everything was simply perfect and dreamy. I can only recommend this place to everyone – and I’ll definitely come back!

Beautiful accommodation in a very nice location in the heart of Villequier. Close and with beautiful views of the Seine. We'll be happy to go back, we really liked the place!

We had a perfect stay with Sylvie. The house was cosy and very private. We loved to wake up every morning surrounded by all the farm animals. Sylvie brought us breakfast every morning with homemade and local products. When visiting, definitely visit nearby towns on the route du cidre and try out all kinds of cider. And if I had to give one point of improvement, it would be that the shower spray is pretty soft, but that did not ruin anything. We can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

The house was perfect for us. It was spacious, comfortable and the indoor pool ideal in wet, windy weather. Sophie and her dad were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

We came as a couple with our chihuahua two years ago and couldn't come back in 2024. We caught up this year, at 4 this time since we have in the meantime become parents. What a joy to share this space with our 6-month-old baby! What a joy to come back and what a sadness to have to leave already... until next time! It feels like home (maybe even better by the way!) Without having to ask, all the equipment was there for our baby, who, let's admit, never took such long naps! Thank you 💖

The location is unique and the view is beautiful. The dining table, sofa, terrace and one bedroom overlook the sea. Very good beds. The apartment is comfortably furnished. It is very quiet and you still have the beach promenade right by the house. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner...the kitchen sponges etc. were already very used.. we had our own, so it wasn't that bad. There were also spices, oil, coffee, etc. from previous tenants. The house, which you live in alone, is great and has a lot of charm. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.

We only spent 3 days in this house, but we wish it could have been more! This is a very nice house, cosy for 2 people. Really good location, not far from the beach. the Jacuzzi is a nice extra, the house new and modern. Our host was very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend this location.

Excellent stay at Maria and Pieter's for an extended weekend in May. Charming house in the Normandy countryside with a very nice garden for both our children. A few minutes from the pretty city of Cormeilles. We'll be happy to come back in a few weeks. Thanks again to Pieter for his warm hosting and advice.

The view, the view, the view! Yes, it was the view that won us over when we chose a place to stay in Ault. And indeed we were not disappointed, so much so that we ate at the apartment most of the time to enjoy it as much as possible. The rental is very pleasant, bright, well decorated. We have everything we need for a pleasant stay, and it's very clean. The region, which we already knew, offers great opportunities for walks and sports, for those who love nature. It's not the French Riviera... it's 100 times better. Thanks to Michel for hosting us so nicely and for being available. We'll be happy to go back.
