A fabulous location and beautiful, cosy house. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped and the boot room was an absolute boon for our wet kit.

This cabin is situated in a beautiful, secluded woodland. It is well equipped, comfortable and warm. The Holt, a communal space with extra everything is also home to a huge range of maps and local information. Christine was welcoming and friendly and the cabin was spotless. Highly recommended! FANTASTIC was exactly as described. Immaculately clean & lovely fresh crisp linen, ample pots, pans, cutlery etc. Lovely to come back to after a day of exploring. We both loved our short stay absolutely perfect relaxing for two persons. Very Quiet and we slept like logs as beds were very comfortable. If you are looking for great accommodation and reasonable prices you should give this wee place a try. 10/10 We will definitely be back. Gordon & Janice

Incredible stay! Beautiful views all around, easy walk to local restaurants, and the home was so cozy with everything we needed! 10/10!
A compact bathroom features a white toilet and pedestal sink, complemented by a small window above. Soft green walls enhance the space, while light tiles add brightness. A potted plant hangs above the sink, and a pink mat lies on the floor beside the bathtub.

Dal na Mara: luxury home with stunning sea views

KarenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Dal na Mara literally took my breath away. I'd seen all the photos, but the reality is ethereal! I literally spent the first day looking out the windows, listening to the wind, watching the sun move across the water, islands, and mountains. I will treasure my week of relaxation and being in the moment. The home is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and creates a wonderful home for the week. Helga has thought of everything as well as the directions. I ever closed the blinds because I wanted to see the view 24-7. Private, so I didn't feel exposed. The bed was a cloud. So many places to travel see the incomparable NW Highlands as well as Ullapool. BEST TRAVEL LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION IN 35 YEARS!!

The house is in a great situation, Shieldaig village is an easy walk away with its cafe and restaurant/hotel. We were there for a cycling sportive starting in Shieldaig so it was very convenient. We were blessed with the most amazing weather and enjoyed cycling and walking in the area.
