Monthly Rentals in Upper Daintree

Pamela was a really generous, welcoming and flexible host. The surrounding garden and area was was beautiful. The space is off grid, very clean and modest. Thanks for having us!

This was our favorite Airbnb rental ever. A cassowary walked through the yard 45 minutes after we pulled in! First the location is stunning. The house is 2 km down a dirt and gravel road of the main sealed road. It is surrounded by lush rainforest and is extremely quiet. We could not hear or see any other neighbors and felt like we had the rainforest to ourselves. The house itself is spacious with a large main room and two bedrooms. The main area has lots of seating, TV, kitchen, and dining area. Even though the house is off grid it has all the comforts including air conditioning, dishwasher, and good WiFi. The outdoor area is very pleasant with seating areas under both front and back porches and an outdoor dinner table. There is a very small pool that we didn't use but looks lovely. There is also a grill and laundry facilities outside. There are small sacrifices being off grid (you have to watch power usage at night) but if you want a place that is truly remote this is it!

Harmony Creek is an amazing eco- retreat in the heart of Daintree. I loved the tranquility , privacy, the local beaches, swimming holes, rainfrest and reef. Yelma was a wonderful host and showed me many beautiful places of solitude. yelma

This place is beautiful, both the home and the area. Loved the walk down to the waterfall. The only negative was we lost power due to lack of sun for several days (home is off the grid and relies on solar). Host was very responsive even late in the evening and did everything possible to make us comfortable. Highly recommended.
