Lovely Cabin with Jacuzzi & Pool in La Fortuna

GinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Thank you so much Andy and Graciela for such a wonderful stay. You are both gracious, friendly and made us feel like family. Your property is a little hidden paradise. We got up close and personal with the sloths that have claimed your oasis(two fell out of a tree right in front of us! The cold pool was a refreshing welcome from the heat.

Beautiful new villa with a Jacuzzi in La Fortuna

AdamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Ari's Airbnb! She welcomed us warmly, even with a bottle of local wine, despite our late arrival. The house was absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and surrounded by nature. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub after long days of exploring. It also had a well equipped kitchen and great art throughout. Ari was super responsive and kind. When we had trouble figuring out the hot water late at night, she was ready to help and even offered to send her partner over to help. We ended up solving it ourselves, but her offer meant a lot. We also had an accidental mix up with a personal item, and she graciously helped us coordinate its return with her family. Her communication was thoughtful and smooth throughout our stay. The whole experience felt easy, relaxing, and cared for. We couldn’t recommend her or her place more—it’s a perfect getaway spot with a truly great host.

Cozy Lakeview Cabin between Fortuna & Liberia

AgataRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an amazing place to stay! The views through big windows are beautiful, the outdoor area is stunning, we loved hanging out outside in the evenings and early mornings to watch the birds and listen to the jungle. We have seen more birds in our back yard than at some guided tours in the rainforest. We heard howler monkeys as well. There are frogs that usually come out after it rains and little geckos are adorable. Everything was in working order. The mini split in the downstairs bedroom worked very well. I only wish there was another AC unit upstairs or at least a big ceiling fan as upstairs gets very very warm during the day but it cools off in the evening enough for a comfortable sleep. I highly recommend this accommodation, it was a highlight of our trip.

El Descanso Cabin 34 With a Jacuzzi

RancelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ok, the place and the host are perfect. The problem is that it says San Ramón and maybe it happens to you, as it did to me, we imagined it as being near San Ramón downtown, but no! Literally, it is Peñas Blancas, it is about 20 or 25 minutes from Fortuna, so if you think of something closer, it is complicated because it takes more than 3 hours from San José. So, just so you know, but it's totally worth it! The cabin, the river, everything is great, really

River Cabin

CamrynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was breathtaking and the hot tub was an extra bonus. It was so relaxing and peaceful to sit in the hot tub or just sit on the beautiful balcony while listening to the nearby river. The place was very clean and the host did extra things to make it feel even more special - provided robes, fresh fruit, cold drinks. Definitely would recommend this place to stay and relax while enjoying the near by areas!! Thanks for making our vacation special!!

Private river access, heated pool, fireplace

KristiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very peaceful stay on a gorgeous piece of land next to a calm river! We saw an abundance of wild life including monkeys, which was truly a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. If you're looking for a "rustic" retreat with plenty of amenities and adventures in the area this is your place! The heated pool was the perfect temperature to soak in for hours listening to the sounds of nature. The kitchen came well stocked with all the essentials for cooking and if you forgot any fresh ingredients you can always buy some from the organic farm on the property. Bari was a superb host who made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible and always quick to respond to any questions I had. If you're wondering if you should add this rental to your CR trip, the answer is absolutely! Pura Vida!! :)

Beautiful!! It was exactly what we were looking for and had a view of the volcano too. Description mentions we might see some bugs because it’s in nature but we didn’t see any! Super clean and the bed was so big and comfortable! Also Melania provided great local recommendations and it was very easy to find. We definitely would stay here again and recommend it!

Wonderful Airbnb! Looked exactly like pictures and it was so pretty and peaceful. Was easy to find and felt safe. The only issue was the amount of little bugs everywhere. Everything else was clean. Would be helpful to have more than two towels for guests.

The cabin is beautiful, the place is very private and quiet. Olger is an excellent host, attentive and the cabin had everything you need for cooking! Maybe the only thing I didn't notice is that there is no TV but, in the description it wasn't worse, maybe the detail is important for other people.

This is a beautiful private escape, however, we were here just one night. After a long flight the accommodation was clean and comfortable & the shower lovely! We found food at local spot down the street in the evening & enjoyed our morning coffee outside, seeing a toucan. Thank you Andrey for a pleasant stay.

We’ve had a very relaxing stay at this place, we stayed for 1night and it was a very unique experience, being so close to the river and nature, we could see and hear many birds. We didnt mind the louder sounds of the river, and with the address link that Maria provided we easily found the place.

Had the best time exploring the Arenal area from this cozy Airbnb. The 7-8km drive in is no joke, but doable in a 4x4! Be mindful of the dark/fog to give yourself good driving conditions. It’s a winding/uphill trek, but quite nice to take in the surrounding view and animals. We had breakfast and dinner delivered to the room and it was delicious and perfectly on time. Highly suggest!!

Absolutely incredible, do not hesitate!! 100% worth the money. The staff were incredible - kind and responsive. The amenities were amazing - the restaurant was our fav meal of the trip, the hidden waterfall was a lovely touch, and of course El Tigre Waterfalls Hike + horseback riding was magical. The Airbnb itself was probably the best one I've ever stayed at. Santa Elena is a gorgeous town nearby. So much to do here, wish I had skipped everythig else and just did the entire trip here.
