Vacation rentals with lake access in Union County

This was a perfect overnight, peaceful and located right next to the park. Great views across the Hudson just a short walk away. Bus stop nearby. Room was good and excellent bathroom facilities. JC was the perfect host, very helpful instructions and communication throughout. would highly recommend:)

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Lage des Hauses günstig und ruhig ,nahe am öffentlichen Verkehr. Der Kontakt mit den Gadtgebern sehr gut. Es gab eine große Hilfsbereitschaft . Ich habe selten so eine hervorragende Airbnb Unterkunft gehabt und kann sie jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Louis was warmly welcoming to my friend and I, graciously waiting to greet us and show us the details of the room and amenities. The room and bathroom were spotless, and I loved the little details of the soap dispensers and the welcome shelves with water and such. The room was spacious with good light and had nice artistic touches. I look forward to staying at Louis’ place again when I’m in Newark, absolutely. Very close and convenient to the Newark international airport.

We have stayed at two different properties hosted by Lou. This second visit was just as excellent as the first. The property was well-located for what we needed, clean, well equipped, peaceful, and convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Lou is an excellent host, very responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment – perfect for a New York vacation! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. The bedroom – actually the host’s study – is set up with a comfortable air mattress topped with an extra mat for added comfort. We felt very much at home during our 10-day stay. The bathroom was super clean and well stocked with all essentials. The connection to Times Square is great: depending on traffic, it takes about 15–30 minutes. The bus stop right in front of the building with a direct line to Times Square makes the location even better. Communication with Hande was smooth and easy. Thank you for this wonderful stay – we’d love to come back!

Lou truly is a Super host: Caring, warm, quick to respond and filled with positive energy and helpful suggestions about how to best enjoy the area. And he has created a Super space: great-feeling layout with delightful carpet and natural light. Clean, clutter-free, simply & comfortably furnished, homey. It's a South Plainfield haven in which to retreat and recharge from the complicated craze of modern life. There's even a lovely park with a lake great for outdoor walks, and a pleasant little main street with surprisingly good barbecue all within walking distance. We loved it, loved Lou, and hope to be back. Thanks again for everything, Lou, keep it going!!

We had a great stay at Veronica's place, she was a great host and easy to get a hold of for any questions we had. The apartment was exactly as described, the room was large and comfortable. Both the bathroom and kitchen were kept very clean and tidy. The location was great for us, with a metro station just across the street with trains into the city. Would recommend to anyone needing a base to explore the city from!

I had a great time staying here. Easy bus connection across the street into 42nd Street for $8 round trip. The 3 busses run every 10-20 minutes. My room was clean and had an ac plus a window that you can open. Towels and shampoo are provided. The hosts are very flexible with check in. I had some amazing runs along the riverside with incredible skyline views. There is a 24 hour dinner next door and a drugstore across the street.
