This apartment has such character and charm. The spacious balcony is a beautiful hang out spot in a quiet village with partial sea views. The pool and garden are really well maintained and just a couple minutes walk to the beach.

The best place i would recommend.. Its the peaceful heaven i would have say... Mr.Boris... my man... he is always there for you... Olga is super friendly couldn't see her directly... but she helped me a lot though immediate response over the chat. The place is the best for the price and consist of 2 pools.

We stayed for a month. The place is nice and clean, situated in the village. The local guy, Saidi, who is always at the property is very helpful and kind.

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

We enjoyed ourselves so much in this villa! 4 nice bedrooms with all the attached bathrooms. two kitchens but we only used the mail. Great fun and freezer which was appreciated! Amazing pool and everything taken care of. Patrik and his crew took great care of us, were always around but not that it was intrusive. The dirt road there was a disaster but could still drive with a stroller on it. The beach reached after a walk of 15 minutes. There is not much around but after a couple of days we found a shop and things that were needed. Patrik helped us with everything we needed. We stayed here completely privately and felt safe. Since we were traveling with toddlers, I was missing a cot and high chair that is easy to get so it's something that might be fixed. Good AC in the rooms and very nice and cared for garden.

The accommodation was wonderful, very beautiful and clean. The host's services were very wonderful. The staff were kind and precise. As for the room, it was very clean and exactly like the pictures.

Irina's love for plants and flowers is very evident, the garden is beautiful, peaceful and quite the zen place. She is very nice and friendly and so is her stuff. We got some great tipps and they were all spot on. Everyday fresh bed linen and towels were provided, water too and the place is squeeky clean. Felt like in a hotel, got very well taken care of. The road to the beach is the only downside, but also not dependent on the hosts. Highly recommend! Thanks for having us:)

We were a little skeptical due to the latest rather bad review. We then booked anyway, as we were able to check in at very short notice and the price was simply great. What luck: it was definitely the most spacious and comfortable accommodation we had on our tour of Zanzibar👍👍👍 Especially the large living/dining room was pleasantly cool despite the heat and we spent a cozy game night there in heavy rain. This room is the only one in the house that is equipped only with metal mosquito repellent and without window panes. So there is always a pleasant breeze through the many windows. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Nice location, clean like the photos

The villa more or less meets the description, needs some renovation. Close to the beach and kids loved the pool. The surrounding is not so nice because of construction all around. Very nice communication from Eliasa, thank you very much!

We felt right at home! We found the place to be actually exceeding the expectations from the pictures and the description. Generous space both internal and external, and easy to make yourself right at home. The team of the property was extremely proactive, and we were pleasantly surprised to also have a cleaner that comes by every day. Overall really exceeded what we anticipated. The location as well is easy to get to and just walking distance from the beach, restaurants and a fun little yoga bar/spot. Would def. recommend staying here!

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

The apartment is on a private compound with a lagoon pool, a playground and a common area with a work space. Perfect for remote work. Everything in the apartment is of great quality and in top condition, the staff at the facility is absolutely lovely and welcoming and there is a little balcony. I can definitely recommend staying there. It's a short walk to the beach and many, many restaurants just around the corner

Had a great stay! This apartment is centrally located, clean and well appointed but the best part of our stay was the manager Berry- he was SO helpful throughout our stay and made our stay in stonetown!

Incredible, serene and homely place in a quite neighbourhood with good security. Neat home, great furniture. I really enjoyed making breakfast in that kitchen, it had all the utensils we needed. And for the first time after a long while l got to eat breakfast made by my little brother, imagine. What an experience we had. Abdalrahman is a great host, always willing to assist and promptly responded to us. He even gave us good recommendations. Not only was Abdalrahman a great host, what made it even more special was that he partnered us with a great and reliable driver. We were picked up from the airport and that was the start of a memorable week. Yussuf (driver) took us to all the remarkable places and was also so helpful in breaching the language gap when we had to deal with other locals, he even taught us a bit of Swahili. We're definitely coming back!!!

The host Janine and Ramia were very responsive, helpful and very friendly! The location is ideal for easy local and private transportation, Stone town and the Darajani souk were 15 min by local tuktuk, supermarket and vegetable stands within walking distance and the place is a well maintained, housekeeper was provided twice weekly. We enjoyed the patio in the evening, and the neighborhood was safe and friendly. We waked to a local beach to see the sunset a few times, it was less than a mile away at Medinat Al Bahar. The hosts had great suggestions for activities and we liked the convenience of being able to prepare meals at home over our 3 week stay! I would recommend this place highly as it was outstanding and the hosts were amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.

A good place for a one-night stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Walkable to go to the beach and go eat. Nice house manager Mr Jerry. The place doesn’t have WiFi (even though it is advertised), which is tough if you don’t have a local SIM card, and are depending on WiFi for coordinating your trip. Remember to bring bath towels, soap, and toilet paper, as there are no essentials included in this listing. Also the area is prone to electricity blackouts, so if you’re used to staying in hotels with generators, be prepared when staying in any AirBnB in Zanzibar, for blackouts.
