Fiddlestone Lodge in Castle Caldwell Forest

CathyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Fiddlestone lodge is a stunning property. We went as a family of 14 and felt we all had our own privacy, as the house is so spacious. The outdoor area by the hot tub is an amazing social area - we spent most of our time there. The games area was well used too. The barbecue was top of the range and had the whole family fed in no time!! Nick is so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend anyone to stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Waterside, King size Bed, Eateries/Pub 3 min walk

SimonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very nice home with a short walk to local restaurants and store. Kennans and the purple onion were our go to eating places after our days out touring. Both very good. We liked the location for walking by the river and watching the world go by. Nice to sit out the front in the Sun in the morning with a coffee. It’s not secluded but it is still very quiet.

Kilronan Castle Holiday Home (Beside Luxury Hotel)

SeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay at David's Holiday Home on the Kilronan Castle Estate. The location proved convenient for day trips to Co. Donegal, Co. Galway, and especially Co. Sligo (which was one of our favorites!). The unit had everything we needed for our family of 4 (including 2 teens) to spread out and enjoy, prepare meals, and even do laundry (we stayed there during the middle of a multi-week trip to UK & Ireland.) Everything was as described in the place- and, importantly, the beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed exploring the castle grounds, while I (Sean's wife) splurged for a wonderful massage and Thermal Suite at the Spa. Hubby & I also enjoyed a Guinness in the castle Dungeon Bar a couple of nights during our stay. Check-in & other instructions were clear and easy to follow. David was prompt in following up with any questions we had. We would happily stay again and/ or recommend to others.

Drumleague Canal Bank House

MajaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Keogh's Country Retreat

MattRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay and rented the full space—perfect for our family. Michael and Nicola are everything Airbnb was meant to be: warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Unlike many hosts these days who are remote owners, they live on-site and truly care about their guests. They greeted us with enthusiasm and gave great tips on local sights. Our 6-year-old daughter had an amazing time playing with their daughter (also 6). The property is very family-friendly with a zip line, tennis court, playhouse, trampoline, and two friendly dogs who acted as our guides on peaceful walks. The private suite was quiet and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. This was a personal, memorable experience—highly recommended!

I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

Ard na Mara

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay in Amanda's cottage, the place was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a long weekend with two small kids. The location was great, down a very quiet, safe lane-way, with lots of beautiful beaches a short drive away, and great cafes and restaurants nearby in Annagry. It was a pleasant 15-min walk to a cosy pub too. Amanda was a great host, she was very responsive and quick to help when we had a minor issue in the house.

Had a wonderful paddle in kayaks at Lough Key. And the sun shone endlessly! Great weekend! We'll be back!
