Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

Fuglefjellet Runde is located 45 minutes by car, for those who want to experience teeming bird life right out in the ocean

Annex with amazing views

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The hayloft is over a hundred years old, but it has been renovated. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is only used by you guests and access to the rest of the main house is closed off. There is 5 gallons of water available in the fridge. Welcome to "Aunt Hanna`s house". This house in natural surroundings offers you peace and quiet. On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the house. The house is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff, and with a direct view to Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks. 1 canoe, motor boat, fishing rods and 2 SUP board for rent if available and on request.

The house was partially renovated in 2022, and has, among other things, a brand new kitchen. The house is suitable for families, and is a perfect starting point for hiking and activities in inner Nordfjord.
