Experience real farm culture in an original halling house with charm. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old grinder and cook on a wood stove if you like. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of room to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby can be mentioned nesfjellet alpine, golf, nystølkroken cafe, langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few km by car.

Wild, beautiful and steep! Cabin with a fantastic view. Great natural surroundings with great hiking opportunities. Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

The unique thing about the lodge is the atmosphere, the common areas with the large lounges, 2 pool tables, a fireplace room, and a games room. Cozy family cabin right by one of Norway's best trout rivers. Large terrace with seating and amazing views right out to the river and the mountains around. There is NO WIFI in the cabin. TV on the wall for connecting your own equipment. Very good 4G coverage in the area. This is our little family cabin and we hope you take good care of it during your stay. Cleaning must be done by the tenant, so that it looks clean and nice for the next guest.
