Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Twiske

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Hele hartelijke ontvangst van Ruud en Peter, direct hulp gekregen met tillen. De woning was helemaal naar verwachting, en nog een beetje beter. Een zalig bed, heerlijk fris ruikend beddengoed en handdoeken. Mooie omgeving en erg rustig gelegen. Zeker waar voor je geld .. en ik kom graag nog eens terug. Bedankt !!

Wir hatten tolle Tage im Haus von Richard! Die Lage ist exzellent, schön ruhig und mit dem See natürlich super zum erfrischen. Wir hatten das Boot dazu gemietet und auch eine schöne Zeit auf dem Wasser und dem größeren See verbracht. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, klimatisierte Räume waren perfekt an den heißen Tagen. Das zusammensitzen auf der Terrasse am See am Abend, super! Mit dem Haus macht man absolut nichts falsch und würden es immer wieder buchen.

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

Joost et sa femme sont particulièrement accueillants. Leur côté chaleureux a contribué à rendre notre séjour familier et sympathique. Literie excellente. Propreté parfaite. Le petit déjeuner apporté chaque matin avec le sourire était confectionné avec soin, bon et copieux. Ce moment était l'occasion de discuter un peu avec de couple ouvert et bienveillant. L'appartement, facile à trouver - est extrêmement agréable, bien meublé, accessible et dans un cadre verdoyant et paisible. Le tram qui nous mène en centre ville et dans le quartier des Musées est à 3 minutes à pied et les trams très fréquents. Nous n'avons pas regretté du tout de ne pas être en centre ville Tout a été positif. Nous recommandons sans réserve l'appartement de Joost et sa femme

The neighborhood is beautiful, the house is beautiful, clean, and very well equipped and decorated. The area is lovely to walk around and a short distance to the east there are a lot of restaurants, bars and bakeries and to the south one big mall with supermarket and shops. My only complaint is the staircase is too narrow, which makes it uncomfortable to go up and down with suitcases. But I recognize this is a Dutch thing and the majority of houses, new and old, have the same issue.

Nach einem langen Tag in Amsterdam haben wir die Ruhe in Broek in Waterland bei Haico sehr genossen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und bietet alles, was wir gebraucht haben: ein bequemes Bett, eine saubere Dusche und eine gut ausgestattete Küche, in der wir unser Frühstück zubereiten und abends kleine Mahlzeiten wie Pasta oder Sandwiches machen konnten. Die Lage ist ideal, um schnell nach Amsterdam zu gelangen, und die Busverbindung ist sehr gut.

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

Location can no be beat. Beautiful neighborhood. Canals and great restaurants all around. Nice little outdoor space too. Gerrit was extremely helpful with directions and alerting us of train strike. He was always very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

If this listing is available, I recommend you book it, there is only positives to this place. Conveniently located with great views in a spacious and well decorated place, it felt like a home with reasonable setup for a baby (crib, gate at the stairs). Hosts are lovely and responsive. The place felt very safe.

Schöne, kleine Unterkunft. Perfekt geeignet um mit der Bahn nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Kommunikation mit den Hosts lief problemlos. Die 2 Nächte vor Ort haben uns gut gefallen.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

In der gemütlichen Wohnung haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Monice und Pascal war super freundlich und bereitgestellte Infos äußerst umfangreich, so dass wir u. a. schnell einen kostenfreien Parkplatz in der Nachbarschaft finden konnten. Der Bäcker gegenüber hatte leckere Brötchen und Alkmaarscentrum ist fussläufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt genau an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzung, aber irgendwie - und ich bin sehr hellhörig und lärmempfindlich - hat dieser nicht gestört, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Gospodarz wypełnił lodówkę niespodziewanym poczęstunkiem napojami oraz winem, co nas miło zaskoczyło. W mieszkaniu było dużo miejsca, było ogólnie ładnie. Troszkę zmarzłam w nocy, ale w gorące dni będzie super. Słychać było kroki mieszkających nad nami oraz jak ktoś używa wodę, ponieważ dom jest dawno wybudowany. Napewno bardzo ładny ogródek. Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Gospodarz.

Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.

I highly recommend this airbnb. Ester is an exceptional host. We were greated with a warm welcome, an amazing bottle of wine & many delicious treats. She also provided several recommendations before we arrived based on our interests as well as helpful hints navigating the transit system. Her kindness was genuine & much appreciated. As for the accommodations, it is beyond 5 stars - super clean, newly renovated with a lovely balcony, very spacious, beautiful decor, well stocked with all necessities & it provides a quite night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. As for the location, it's perfect - several tram & bus lines are a short walk from the flat making it easily asscessable to the entire city, the airport & train station, it's steps away from a beautiful park, walking distance to a great bakery, cafes, restaurants & grocery stores. Staying in this neighborhood as opposed to a touristy location provides for a much more meaningful travel experience. This airbnb was perfect!

We had a wonderful time at Michel and Rosa's house. They are very welcoming, the scenery is beautiful and the apartment was super clean. We would definitely recommend staying there. Lary & Bruno
