This is definitely a hidden oasis in Tura 😊 Initially I booked this homestay for 3 nights, but was too happy with it that I extended up to a week. The sounds of river flow and chirping birds were very soothing. Brendan and the boys (Arminio especially!) were very nice and friendly, thanks a lot for your hospitality! I took some special memories with me and I hope to come back next time when it’s lush green 🌳

Do'patchi Homestay! The homestay is named after the swallow birds that are native to the area. The homestay is built in the traditional Garo style, with thatched roofs and bamboo walls. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and all have their own private bathroom.h the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is the perfect place to experience the simple life and a place to relax and recharge in the beautiful countryside of Meghalaya. It is located in a quiet, peaceful village.

The two-story farmhouse exhibits a combination of stone and modern finishes, with multiple large windows illuminating the space. An inviting staircase leads to the upper level, while outdoor seating is arranged on the porch, surrounded by neatly lined flowerpots.

The homestay is right above my ancestral home and and is named after my grandmother, Lucetta Areng. The property offers a view of the Tura peak from the largest room.

It was nice stay

The place has breathtaking views and perfect for a getaway. The beauty is beyond words. The place is clean and very well kept. Shafali is a wonderful host, always ready to help and loves make sure you enjoy and have the most fun. I'm definitely come back here!

Jenifer and her staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. Her home is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast provided is really yummy and scrumptious. I highly recommend staying here.
