Valley View Escape

Exactly as described. Very quiet and was a great set up to keep my 1 year old grandson reined in. He had place to run around and play but not so large had to chase him all over. I had not been to Vermont in 13 years (bury my mom) we came back to bury my father, my mom and dad moved to Missouri after my father retired but wanted to be buried in Northfield where they were born and raised. I loved the peace and quiet Anne’s place provided, I appreciate her working with us when our flight out of Missouri canceled and we were delayed a day. Anne was very responsive with answering questions, her and her husband very friendly, exactly the kind of people I remember from growing up in Vermont. Plan to go back up again later this year or next year since this trip was short and quick.

Nelson’s place was a great place to camp. Everything was as advertised. I wish I had booked earlier to see the peak leaves. I would definitely visit again.

Renovated Farmhouse: serene, modern & private

We cannot recommend Tony's place enough. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back if in Vermont again. The open fireplace in the kitchen was used daily and it was so relaxing to come downstairs in the morning, start a fire, open the back doors and listen to the birds. Tony was great as well. He checked in on us and made sure we felt right at home. We loved every second of it. Thank you for having us.

This was my second time staying here and absolutely loved it just as much as before. It truly is a peaceful experience, waking up to the chickens and birds singing was lovely. Amy is always so sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful private village apartment with king bed

KateRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The room was absolutely lovely! The bed was so comfy and I loved the little touches of the plush robes and face masks. We felt very relaxed and fancy. Was bummed we couldn’t try the local cuisine because everything was closed on the holiday weekend but I guess that just means we have to come back. ;) It was a great stay!

Cottage in the middle of family horse farm

LindaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We enjoyed our short stay in the cabin very much. The place was immaculate when we arrived. We were pleased to find coffee beans in the freezer and creamer in the fridge! Plenty of towels and comfy beds. There were horses out in the pasture which added to the peaceful setting - even during a rainy weekend! The location was quite convenient for visiting lots of cute little towns including Royalton, Stratton, Woodstock, and Norwich. I highly recommend this place to others.
