The Cedar Church

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an absolute beauty of Airbnb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cedar Church. As soon as we walked in, we felt so comfortable and relaxed. The styling is so luxe and beautiful, and the view incredible. Sitting on the deck watching the farm animals and various wildlife was so peaceful, we also enjoyed strolling up to the top of the driveway on the hill looking at across the valley and to the Ben Lomond mountain area. Hubby was brave and went for a cold plunge in the river nearby which he highly recommends! The nearby Evandale town (about 15-20min drive) is gorgeous. The corner store has a good selection of groceries and a few cute shops and cafes. The courtyard at the Clarendon Arms was also great! This stay exceeded all expectations even after the 5 star reviews and we would love to come back one day!

Diamond Hills Campbell Town

We really enjoyed staying here. The house has been renovated, and if is lovely inside. We walked into town each afternoon and explored the local surroundings, (and talked to a heap of locals in the pub 🤣). It's a great spot to base yourself and head out to Ross as well. the boys cooked us dinner on our second night, and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Just make sure if you're a light sleeper, take some earplugs (as the trucks use this highway to move produce between Hobart & Launceston). The beds are very comfy!

Tom met us with a freshly baked loaf of bread and a smile. He was super engaging and a fantastic host. He had a dog on the property (with puppies), that greeted us each morning for coffee. The place was lovely!
