Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. I didn’t want to leave this beautiful home! Waking up to the view of the lagoon and the sound of birds singing was truly magical. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a peaceful retreat. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch and absolutely delicious. Nathan and Joanne were very responsive and made everything smooth and easy. I’d definitely recommend this place for a restful and nourishing getaway. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning property and location, perfect little staycation for my family. The kids were never short of things to do between the lake, pool, huge yard and board games, we loved every minute of being there. Ashay was helpful friendly and the perfect host. We can’t wait to go back

BOOK THE STAY! Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our weekend here. The hosts are responsive and helpful, the short boat transfer from the marina is seamless ( thanks Collin), and the views from the house are unbeatable. The wifi is fast, the smart TV’a were great , the house is well stocked, and you have everything you need to relax. We had an absolutely magical time and though we live out of the country we will make every effort to come back!

The treehouse is in such a tranquil and beautiful spot. Inside is very cosy and between the wood stove and gas heater it was toasty warm inside on cold evenings. The kitchen is very well set up with everything you could need for cooking and also a good selection of sauces, tea, coffee and staples. The treehouse has been very thoughtfully set up with nice touches like blankets on the balcony. Highly recommended for a relaxing place to get away close to Sydney..we thoroughly enjoyed it!!

We had the best time!!! We had a whole group of friends, children and dogs and the place was perfect!! They blew up a jumping castle for the kids. There was plenty of activities for the adults like table tennis, volleyball etc. The house had ample room for people to sleep and camp. Megan was so communicative and helpful. The kitchen was full of every piece of crockery and cutlery you needed! We loved it and would go back in a heart beat!!!

We had a lovely stay at Dora Creek, the house is so beautifully decorated and the views are serene. We will most certainly be back!

Well appointed. So many items supplied in kitchen and bathrooms that I have not seen at any other AIRBNB. Easy access. Very clean and well stocked with cleaning items and supplies incase of an accident or spill so you clean up and continue to enjoy your stay. Location close to cafes and restaurants at Lemon Tree Passage. So many recreational items in shed to help you enjoy the coastal location and water ways. Julie took the time to reach out to us when we did not reply to emails as we were travelling and not opening our laptop and lodging in every day about dietary requirements re type of milk to put in fridge. In conclusion well done Julie you are a credit as a super host.

We had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Kate was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything super easy. The jetty was a highlight, with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

This place is home away from home, there is everything you would want for a great holiday, from life jackets for you and the kids to all you need in the shower. I would recommend Pavla and Luke's accommodation to anyone looking for a great family holiday.

Howard was a wonderful host. The house was immaculate even came in to awesome music playing when we first arrived, the scenery was breathtaking and the overall experience was something you don’t get often in the city. My partner and I will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at this waterfront property. The views were stunning and the little touches, like a bottle of wine on arrival, were a nice addition. The host was friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway and we’d happily stay again!

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

We had great stay over at Alexander's. Great home and location.

Had an amazing stay at The Careel Chalet! The property was just steps from the sand, and waking up to the sound of the waves was pure bliss. The space was bright, airy, and super clean. The outdoor area was a highlight, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks with a view of the ocean. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque beach escape!

We had a great long weekend stay at Anders' Great Mackeral Cabin. The cabin is a bit tricky to get to with small kids and a bit of luggage but it was an adventure and Anders was extremely helpful in making sure we were well prepared and had everything we needed. Once we were there the cabin had everything we needed and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. The views from the cabin are spectacular and we loved spending some time in the bush and down at the beach. We would definitely travel back to the cabin for another visit.

Excellent cabin in a lovely tranquil location. Great hosts with everything that you need in the cabin plus more, to have a relaxing time outside of the city. Great for fishing and beach walks, close to amentities if you need to stock up on food too.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Astrid’s beautiful hideaway. With its spectacular river views and peaceful, secluded location, it was the ideal weekend escape from the city. Kayaking along the river was a scenic highlight, and cosying up at night by the wood fire made it even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic getaway nestled amongst nature.
