This was a wonderful, charming place. So easy to find and check in. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. I was a little nervous at first for street parking in Richmond can be difficult, but it wasn't an issue at any time of the day or evening when we returned to the home. Sitting on the porch enjoying the weather after a day of touring the city was so pleasant. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly placed for access to all activities in Richmond but quiet and restful in the evening and sleeping, away from the hustle bustle of the city. We will happily stay again when the need arises.

This was our second stay in a short period of time. It was nice and peaceful. We really enjoyed the space. Everyone commented on how peaceful and homey it felt. Overall great experience. Violet communicates very well and is very responsive. If you are visiting RVA this is a great place to stay.

Charming house in a lovely part of Richmond. It was close to parks and downtown. We loved the backyard and were able to host my 87 yr old father in law and his wife. They enjoyed sitting in the comfortable outdoor chairs while our dog chased rabbits in the big back yard.

This is a beautiful old house! Definitely be mindful of the location when you’re booking, it’s a great location if you’re looking to go out and walk around, but the music from the bars was quite loud until very late at night. It wasn’t really an issue for us, but if you’re looking for a quieter scene, it’s something to be aware of! Very cute house, a little quirky! We had a wonderful stay

This Airbnb location was a perfect location in Glen Allen for a long weekend getaway! It was in a very quiet neighborhood which I enjoyed and had no issues at all. The house is located on a slight hill which provided more privacy for the home. There was plenty of space for us four adults and a toddler. Host was extremely communicative and easy to contact. Would stay here again!

The Hideaway Oasis was a great find, clean, well-stocked and Katie’s hospitality was top notch! Between the flexibility with our check-in and the personalized special surprises for the kids and dogs, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer host. Katie went out of her way to welcome us… sooo appreciated after a busy day of packing and dealing with movers. Fun game room, relaxing outdoor area… we loved listening to the birds singing while enjoying our morning coffee. This is THE place to stay when visiting Fort Greg-Adams! Thank you, Katie!

This beautiful home was exactly what I needed to house my extended family to be close to a graduation venue. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! They were so helpful in EVERY way, truly going above and beyond. Older homes have character, and upkeep can be a challenge. However, here the interior was spotless, and exceeded my expectations, 10/10. The exterior had a couple spots that could use attention, but was overall very nice. Beds: quality mattresses, linens, and pillows! Even the day bed downstairs was super comfy. Kitchen: clean and well-stocked. All the essentials and some extras were available. Backyard: amazing! We made use of as much as we could, weather permitting. The gazebo is a lovely place to gather. And the pickleball court—OMG—we literally spent hours on it! We also played corn hole and other games. All in all, a fantastic weekend, and this home is at the top of my list for Richmond. I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Private space for quiet downtime with the family.

Comfortable home that was exactly what my family needed. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Shower on the first floor is my favorite of any place I’ve stayed. Maria was always responsible and was flexible my with requests.

This place was great! The location makes it easy to get to many places in Richmond quickly and it was a perfect location for a family wedding in nearby Maymont. The house is beautiful and the furnishings very comfortable. The pool was a special bonus - lovely and relaxing with incredible plantings. Clearly a lot of time was spent considering what guests might want. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

Cherrie’s place was perfect for our needs and she was super welcoming and prompt in all of her communications with us. Highly recommended!!

A Great and Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Peaceful surroundings, trickling waterfall, beautiful nature all perfect to rest and disconnect. Plenty to do with trails to hike, lake to fish or kayak (kayaks provided by host), gorgeous super clear swim pond, fire pit, string lights…. Everything was awesome. Met the host in passing, super friendly and hospitable. Great to chat with. Love their vision and execution of their facilities! Loved the farm store which housed delicious treats and some groceries and even fish bait for fishing on their lake. This place has it all! Our kids cried when our mini vacation was over because they didn’t want to leave (neither did we!) Our youngest wanted to sell our house so we could live here and never leave. We will be repeat renters and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your property with us

We had family and friends in from out of state for my granddaughters high school graduation. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The views and the house were beautiful. Heather was a wonderful host, very responsive to our requests and needs. Hopefully the house will be available in a few years for my granddaughters collage graduation, she loved the setting so much she would love to come back. Lynne

Erica's place was quiet and comfy for an overnight stay. The location is really cool, right on the canal path, so restaurants and Shockoe Bottom are walking distance. Plus secure garage parking was a win. This is one Airbnb where it makes sense to meet the host rather than try and decipher check in instructions (otherwise you'd have to navigate a private building garage and a not super intuitive layout to get to the unit entrance). Erica was friendly and responsive and a great host!

This place was really nice! Perfect for what I needed. Had a washer and dryer! The kitchenette was perfect for coffee and making up a light breakfast. In great area with lots of good things to do. The check-in was super easy. Host was super responsive. If your coming to Richmond for either buisness or pleasure, check this spot out. Its a perfect place to come back too after being out all day. Nice and quiet and very clean. In a great part of town thats lowkey. I would most certainly get this place again in the future for when I need a place in Richmond to stay. What a supremely unique experience to stay on a houseboat on the water! Capt Ron is so friendly and helpful, and his GiaMaria provided a truly special night for us! Private, peaceful, spacious and a beautiful setting for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back!

I stayed here with two friends for my bachelorette. The house was lovely and the location was perfect! The neighborhood is gorgeous, tree-lined, and very walkable. We were near a bunch of restaurants and coffee shops. We fell in love with Richmond! Thanks, Meg!

We had a fantastic stay! This condo had great high ceilings, which made the place feel very spacious. There were close spots to quickly park and unload suitcases, and no stairs to climb. There are so many things to do within walking distance, such as great restaurants and visiting the beautiful capitol building area. Parking is included and just around the block in a safe garage, which is such a plus when staying downtown. We definitely would book this space again! Whit is very helpful, friendly and responsive!

I had a pleasant stay here. The living room TV is large and great for Xbox or movies. Both bedrooms, and the house in general, was clean and tidy. Surrounding area has great access to stores.

We had an awesome time staying at the cottage, perfect location near tons of restaurants and shops with a quick drive to Richmond. We booked specifically for the dog friendly aspect and everything was better than described, LARGE fenced in yard with tons of space and outdoor community seating area with tables/chairs to enjoy the sounds of nature right outside. We loved sitting under the porch listening to the birds while our dog roamed the yard getting in all the smells. Cottage has comfy king bed with full fridge, easily controlled AC, microwave and any dishes/utensils that you would need. Owner was SUPER sweet and spoke with us on the way out asking to pet our pup and if she could have treats. We would recommend this cottage to those who have pets and still want to be able to explore the variety of dog friendly places around the Richmond area while also feeling at ease leaving them at the cottage while doing activities without your pet. We would stay here again!

Great location! It is located close to W Broad so convenient to everything. We stayed for my son’s UR graduation and it was easy to get to campus. Parking is readily available on the street- we always parked directly in front of the house. We didn’t have time to walk, but from the car the neighborhood looked safe. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. It worked well for 3 of us. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was fine. Fenced backyard.

I stayed in this basement apartment for a month and a half while working downtown. The host was extremely friendly, showed me the space, communicated with me about packages and mail, and kept me informed of things to know about the house. I felt very safe in the house and the area. The linens and towels felt very new and clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were also cleanly. The bed was stiffer than I am used to, but I got used to it. There is not much natural light in the apartment since it is a basement unit, but I appreciated all of the lamps and light dimmers so that I did not have to use the overhead lighting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone.
